In 2015, Priscilla Morse had seen a picture on the social media, that changed her life. She saw Ryan, 7-year-old who was about to starve to death. He was living on a Bulgarian orphanage, as he lost his parents.
With her partner, David, Priscilla had three children, but when she saw Ryan, she wanted to take action, so they had decided to adopt Ryan.
Along with Ryan, the couple had adopted another daughter, who had Down Syndrome. Together with David, they had flew to Bulgaria, adopted Ryan, and returned to their home at Tennessee.
As it reported, Ryan had dwarfism, scoliosis, cerebral palsy, and clubfoot. And also he was close to death due to starvation.
When they went to a hospital for Ryan, the doctors had stated that they should keep their hopes up, but they also should be ready for anything.
Priscilla had created a page on Facebook, that was named, Saving Baby Ryan. In the page, she has more than 70,000 followers. She is still posting pictures from the life of Ryan.
“The skeletal near death child crying in pain…he doesn’t exist anymore. He’s gone forever and he’s been replaced with a chubby, giggly, happy boy who loves kisses and tickles. He rolls all over and can be a naughty little butterball!” Priscilla said about her son, Ryan.
