A MOTHER LOST HER LIFE IN THE ALDINGA BEACH FIRE
38-year-old mother, Krystal Marshall, lost her life when she was stuck in the fires that occured in South of Adelaide.
Marshall was living with her ex-wife, Anastasia in the house that burnt down. They had their children and a friend in the home too.
Their two dogs and cat were saved by their neighbors, but they didn’t figure it out that she was in the house too.
“he kids were at school. I went to pick up my youngest from school and I saw smoke coming out of the house when I was walking up the street” Anastasia said, as she was devastated with the result of fire.
“We weren’t together for a couple of years but we never got divorced. We were together for 11 years.”
“I thought it was raining at first, so I walked outside and noticed all this smoke, there was fire coming from the neighbours’ roof” said their neighbor, Jason Freer.
“I didnt know she was inside. It’s not nice living next door to someone who’s died.”
