As Tyne Daly and Georg Stanford was a famous Hollywood couple, who fought against the unnecessary racial understanding of their time, they had raised three children. As they were talented in their careers, they gave some of their talents to their children too.
It was in the 60s, when Georg Stanford Brown started to shine, after he appeared on The Comedians and Rookies, as he starred in other projects as, Roots, Bullit and Stir Crazy.
As he had worked in many projects, he also received many Emmy nominations. The actress, Daly had worked in Judging Amy and Cagney & Lacey, and was in the scripted the Spider-Man: Homecoming.
At the time of their meeting, it was illegal to be a interracial couple, and they married illegally, as it happened in 1966, as there were seventeen states where it was banned to be married with a different colored person.
As they were in love with each other, the law didn’t stopped them from marrying to one another. A year after their marriage, Supreme Court had took the racists laws down, with the case, Loving v. Virginia.
It was in 1977, when Daly and Brown worked together on The Rookies. And they had received terrible treatment due to their interracial marriage. In one of the episodes of the show, they shot the first interracial kiss on screens.
The network wanted to censor their kiss, but Brown and the others at the set refused, and it aired.
Daly stated in a 2022 interview that their relationship was not political. She was 19, and Brown was 21 at that time, and it was nothing more than love and passion.
She stated that they were dragged into the politics, as they were shown as the offense, as if it was wrong loving and marrying someone from a different race.
In 2015, at her speech in Broadway, she talked about the Supreme Court’s decision to allow gay marriages. Daly said, “Hate is very strong, but love is stronger.”
Together, they welcomed three children. Daly is a strong social media user, as she shares her daughters, and praises them. Her daughters, Kathryne Dora, Alisabeth, and Alexandra, loves their mother too.
In 2018, Daly shared her daughters, as she captioned the picture, “All my women are mothers now! Wow.”
Brown is close with his daughter’s too, as he is trying to be in their lives, for all occasions. In 2013, in an interview, Brown and his daughter, Katheryne had talked with each other, from heart-to-heart. As they are in the same work area, they talked about their experiences, and their careers. His daughter stated that her parents were her inspiration.
Alisabeth is the first born of the couple. As she is a private person, there are not much details regarding her life. It was in 2018, when she was photographed as she was smiling through the cameras.
At the picture she was holding a vase, as she was surrounded with them. The caption of the picture was, “Meet Alisabeth B Brown, potter and glassworker. She’s been making ceramics most of her life and just recently branched out into glass.”
Her second daughter, Kathryne Dora Brown, is another actress in the family, who worked in Poison Ivy II, The Reading Room, and Private Practice.
Kathryne also likes to share on social media. She loves to share and talk about her family, as she loves to share her daughters.
She also collects the memories of her family on her social media account. She shared the big Thanksgiving family reunion in 2019.
She captioned, “These people, they complete me #thanksgiving #grateful #family.”
On the next year, she captioned the picture of her family as, “I have deep gratitude being a mom. I feel so lucky and proud. Happy Mother’s Day to my Mommy, and to all the women throughout my entire life…and my sisters Alisabeth and Alyxandra.”
She doesn’t only post herself and her daughters, but her siblings too. She shared her mother occasionally too, as she was grateful of her.
The youngest daughter is Alexandra Brown. She was born in 1985. And she is a private person too, unlike Kathryne. She doesn’t share her own pictures, but in her social media account, she stated, ” I make homemade treats with professional charm!”
