PARENTS KISSED THEIR DAUGHTER GOODBYE AS THEY PULL THE PLUG, LATER A MIRACLE HAPPENED

Lee and Francesca Moore-Williams had experienced a terrible thing in life, as they watched their daughter fade away with each passing day. The couple welcomed their first baby after few years from their marriage, their son Bobby.

Then their daughter, Bella came into their lives. She was born healthy but when shebecame two, the couple noticed that their daughter’s hair was coming off in clumps.

As they got worried, the couple took their daughter to a hospital but the doctors couldn’t figure out what was happening to Bella. They suspected of asthma as Bella was struggling with chest infections at the time, so she was given an inhaler.

Three months after while the family were in Gran Canaria, Bella got sick again, and during the holiday Bella wasn’t even moving besides staying on her mother’s lap.

They took their daughter to Colchester Hospital in Essex as soon as they went back home. Bella was growing weaker with each passing day, and the doctors were not able to understand what was happening to the little girl. They put Bella on a ventilator, and got transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

After an MRI scan, the doctors suggested that Bella fas suffering from a terminal Mitochondrial disease, and that Bella wouldn’t make it.

But Bella was born with Biotinidase deficiency, and to their luck, the hospital had worked against a similar case six years before Bella. They were prepared for the fight.

They first treated Bella with biotin injections, and later they tried to take her off the ventilation, but as she was not able to breath by herself, they put her back.

As days passed, the doctors were not having high hopes about Bella, which was “very traumatic” for Francesca.

Later, the family was asked to say their goodbyes to Bella, as they were suggesting to take her off from the life support. Francesca said, “I now feel a lot of guilt for bringing family members there to say goodbye, but I didn’t know that at the time. I will never, ever forget that moment where I had to say goodbye to my daughter.”

30 minutes after the machines were turned off, Bella had started to kick and scream which the doctors were shocked. They immediately started to work on Bella to keep her alive.

After Bella was awaken, the doctors stated that she will be able to stay without the life support, and then she was taken to children’s ward, where she stayed for three weeks and then returned back to home.
