GRANDDAUGHTER FOUND A BOX, WHERE SHE LOVED TO WALK WITH HER LATE GRANDFATHER

Since she was a child, OP explained that she loved her grandfather. She stated that she was having great time on their walks at the park near her grandfather’s house. Their strolls under the shades of the tree, the sound of the leaves, and the views of the lake were mesmerizing her. There, undert the great oak tree, a bench was sitting. That bench was their special place.
OP shared that those walks were not only physical exercise, but also she learned great things from the intelligence of her grandfather. Her grandfather would share his own stories with her, where he would criticised his youth, and tried to teach her moral values.
The grandfather would bring a simple sandwich, a fruit and a canteen of tea. As they would eat their meals under the oak tree, at the bench, they would talk.
As her grandfather passed, OP was depressed, since she was grieving hard over her grandfather, whom she loved the most.
As she was distressed with her relatives talking about the inheritance, she wanted nothing more but to talk with her grandfather again under the oak tree. She thought she would find no peace at the funeral house, after the ceremony, and decided to went under the oak tree, where their bench was located.
As she walked to the bench, she saw a small, wooden box was sitting there, waiting for her, as with the letter that was written for her.
She opened the letter first, and started to read. The letter started as, “Dear Lucy, I love you very much,”
She read the letter her grandfather wrote for her, as she cried. In the letter, her grandfather had appreciated the moments they had together, and stated how he loved his granddaughter. As he talked about their shared experiences on their walks, he then mentioned a treasure that he hid.
After she finished the letter, she opened the box, and saw the family heirlooms, jewellery, golden rings and pendants. The box was sentimental for her, as she found a greater value at the letter. She remembered a lesson her grandfather taught her, and she thought, the wealth of her grandfather was not these materials, but the experience he left with her, the love and the wisdom he gave to Lucy.
As she remembered memories they had under the greak oak tree, she understand that her grandfather left her with great inheritence, their memories they had created together, with love and understanding.
