CHER AND SALLY FIELD
The iconic singer Cher, and the legendary actress Sally Field is at the same age, as they are both 77. Cher doesn’t like aging, as once she was asked “So you and age, you’re are not friends?” And Cher responded as, “No. My mother didn’t mind. But I do. I hate it.”
“It’s very difficult because I’ve lived too long, and I’ve done too many things. And so it would have to be, like, an encyclopedia, truthfully,” Cher said.
But Sally is very different than Cher, in terms of accepting aging. “My profession is very much about what I look like rather than my capacity to do what it is that I’ve worked my whole life to be able to do.” Field said when she talked about the relationship of her age and her profession.
For Field, the hardest part of getting older is staying healthy.
ELLEN DEGENERES AND JAMIE LEE CURTIS
Even though Ellen DeGeneres is looking younger than Jamie Lee Curtis, they are both at the age of 65.
Jamie once said, “I’m 65 years old this November, but my point is that I have no time to waste. I joke about it, but I’m going to die way sooner than later, and therefore, I have s— to do! This is one of the things that I needed to do, and I’m excited about it.”
As Ellen had received fame through her hosting skills, she revealed that she is feeling confident “when my skin feels hydrated and clean and fresh and smooth and bright.”
OZZY OSBOURNE AND KING CHARLES III
The King Charles of United Kingdom, and the metal music legend Ozzy Osbourne are at the same age, as they are both 75. After the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles had ascended to the throne, and became the King. As he is currently struggling with cancer, royal experts stating that King Charles will be on the throne for a long time.
Ozzy Osbourne on the other hand, is the Prince of Darkness, and one of the biggest names in the heavy metal music.
“I’m taking it one day at a time, and if I can perform again, I will. But it’s been like saying farewell to the best relationship of my life.” Ozzy once said.
PRISCILLA PRESLEY AND HELEN MIRREN
The famous actress, and former wife of Elvis Presley, Priscilla Presley and the iconic actress Dame Helen Mirren are both 78. Priscilla had underwent many cosmetic surgery, and even she got into a traumatic surgery, where she was injected industrial silicon into her face by the fake doctor, Daniel Serrano.
After the fake doctor Daniel Serrano went into prison, Priscilla underwent some corrective surgeries. On the other hand, Dame Helen Mirren, the legendary actress never had a cosmetic surgery to change her appearance, and had an illustrious career.
“Whether you’re 25, 45, or 85, you look great for who you are, not for how old you are.” Mirren once said. She also isn’t afraid to style her gray hair, as she is accepting her aging.
“You die young or you get old and I don’t want to die young. I’m too interested in life. It’s wonderful, so celebrate that and enjoy it,” Dame Helen Mirren said.
RICHARD GERE AND RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON
The famous actors Richard Dean Anderson and Richard Gere are both 74. As Richard Gere is still in the industry, Richard Dean Anderson had stepped away, and now residing in Malibu.
“I love getting older,” Gere said as he is accepting his age. “Clearly I am not as physically flexible or strong as I was when I was a kid, but I think I am mentally flexible,” the actor added.
Gere revealed that he is meditating each day and doesn’t get angry anymore as he embraced his emotional side. “I don’t find it difficult to cry. The last time I did was two days ago, just thinking about how kind people can be.”
STEVE MARTIN AND HENRY WINKLER
The famous actors Steve Martin and Henry Winkler are both 78. Through his career, Steve Martin had appeared in many famous projects, and received awards. “I’m really not interested in retiring. I’m not. But I would just work a little less. Maybe.” Steve revealed.
Henry Winkler had received awards and appeared in many projects in his career too. He published his memoir, “Being Henry: The Fonz… and Beyond,” in 2023.
And also Winkler doesn’t thinking about retiring, as the actor said, “You know, people say, ‘Are you gonna retire?’ I don’t even know how to say the word. Working is in my DNA.”
ANDIE MACDOWELL AND MADONNA
The iconic pop star Madonna, who received many awards in her illustrious career, and the famous producer, writer, and actress, who became the first actress in US movie industry to consecutively be in the first movies at the American box office, are both 65.
Madonna stated that getting older in the industry is a sin, and a reason for being criticised. “You will be vilified and you will definitely not be played on the radio,” Madonna said. “People say I am so controversial but I think the most controversial thing I have ever done is to stick around.”
MacDowell on the other hand doesn’t bother herself with the criticism. “Every once in a while, I’ll say to someone, ‘I’m old,’ and they’ll say, ‘No, you’re not!’ Like it’s some horrible thing to say.”
“I do think there is the importance of seeing beauty at every age and it’s not limited to a certain age,” the actress added, “I want to be old. I’m tired of trying to be young. I don’t want to be young. I’ve been young.”
BARBRA STREISAND AND JOY BEHAR
The famous singer Barbra Streisand and the famous actress Joy Behar are both 81.
Streisand is loving fashion, and she stated that people doesn’t care about their ages when they are chosing clothes. “People should express themselves and wear whatever they feel on any given day. And that has nothing to do with age.”
“I was too afraid to be seen that way at that time. Now I’m too old to care,” she said about her past, when she was caring to wear her clothes according to herage.
And when 81-year-old Behar was asked about retirement, where she is a part of “The View,” Behar stated, “I just signed a contract so I’ll be here for a while. I have no plans to retire.”
“I can’t get excited. I am just glad to be alive.” Behar said after she celebrated her 81st birthday.
