THE COUPLE WHO ARE WITH DWARFISM RECEIVED BACKLASH FOR HAVING CHILDREN
Charli Kate Adams and her partner, Cullen, had received backlash for having kids, as the couple has dwarfism.
The both of the individuals have a different form of dwarfism. Chali has Achondroplasia, and her partner, Cullen has Geleophysic Dysplasia.
Before the couple decided to have children, they underwent some tests which revealed that their children would be a child with average height, a child with Achondroplasia, a child with Geleophysic Dysplasia, or a child with double dominant Dwarfism.
The last result would be terrible, as it would take the life of the newborn. Even with these odds, the couple had wanted to build their own family. With her two pregnancy, Charli gave birth to her beautiful two girls, and her son.
She gave birth to her children via C-section, as her children were born with Dwarfism.
Charli kept her body active during her pregnancies, as she wanted to prevent her spine to receive too much pressure from her pregnancy.
For her choice to bear children, Charli faced huge backlashes, and she had shared her journey and story, with a hope that people would understand her.
“[…] by sharing this tiny piece of the puzzle those who doubt can see that bringing a child into this world with my odds is no simple decision and it’s all about being kind,” Charlie said.
It was confusing for her to have a “normal” baby. Because Charli was thinking herself as a normal person. “I see myself and those like me as nothing but ‘normal’ but one can assume people are referring to my stature,” mother of three said.
As she shared her story and journey online, Charli had received an incredible amount of kind and supportive messages from netizens.
Some people wrote, They are getting so big! So adorable,” and some other wrote, “They’re so cute! Look their happy faces…”
