As 19-year-old Alyssa Jane was at the 25th week of her pregnancy, she wanted to meet with new people, and created an account at a dating app. She met with 25-year-old Max on that app, and they started dating.
Alyssa said, “I didn’t want to lead anyone on, so I was being open and honest,”
“I wanted them to know what they were getting into right off the bat,”
Max stated that something on her attracted him, as he said, “Normally I wouldn’t swipe right on a pregnant girl, but there was just something about her.”
After their first date, they had planned their second date already, as they were ticking together. On their third date, Max had some business out of the city, so they decided that Alyssa would pick him from the airport, and they would have their fourth date.
But things went different for their fourth date. Before their fourth date took place, Alyssa’s water broke, and she talked with Max, as she stated, “I texted him and said I’m so sorry you’re going to have to find your own way home, I am stuck at the hospital, my waters have broken and he instantly said ok the second I get home I’m going to unpack and I’m going to come visit you.”
And Max stayed with her through all process, as she said, “My mum happened to be away on holiday and so Max continued stay with me for the entire week that I had contractions and every time I thought I was in labor he would bring me into the hospital and drive me back home — he took the whole week off work to stay with me.”
As doctors stated, at her 35th week of pregnancy, she had an infection, and they wanted to start the labour immediately, but lucky for Alyssa, Max was there.
“I was a little bit nervous because I was by myself, and I was also worried that — okay, yes I want him as a support person, but what if we end up breaking up in a week’s time?” Alyssa said.
And when her son, Ollie was born, the nurses handed him over to Max, as they called him the dad, since he was there with Alyssa.
Alyssa said, “He didn’t protest when they did call him Dad, he just went along with it.”
After the hospital period ended, Max had made his mind, and wanted to show to Alyssa that he really wanted to be the father of Ollie, as he proposed to her.
As now, Alyssa and Max are engaged, and they had another child together, their daughter Autumn.
A person who read the story online stated, “The nurses called it, he’s definitely the dad.”
“Can we all share Max?! This is just the sweetest! I hope you marry this man someday!” said the second one.
The third person commented, “Girls don’t ever expect anything less! Max is the bar. Find yourselves a Max also!”
