A woman shared that she was at the age of 35, when her child had passed. As their pain was so big, and it left a mark in their soul, she agreed with her husband that they would never have another children.
As they were moving on with their grief, the fate had another strike at them. Her husband was diagnosed with cancer. Two months later, her husband was gone too. For years, Amanda lived alone, in her own loneliness.
Then Sam came into her life. They were working in the same company, for many years, but never until that time. She felt love again, after her husband was gone, after many years.
They were 60, when Sam proposed to her. As she had some questions about wearing the gown and a ring again, but after she thought about the love she received from Sam, she said, “Yes.”
She carefully planned her wedding, along with Sam. And few days before their day of wedding, their door got knocked.
A young girl came, as she said, “Hi! Seems like you’re my mom.”
As Amanda was shocked, she couldn’t believe what the young girl was saying. Then the young girl gave her name, Ellie, and asked that if the woman was Amanda Johnson.
Amanda started to get angry, as she thought that it was a terrible joke, just before her wedding.
Then Ellie started to tell her story. She stated that at the same time Amanda gave birth to her daughter, the hospital chief’s wife had gave birth too, which their child was born dead.
The child was dead due to a mistake the doctor made. After that, the doctor had changed the children, to cover his mistake. As Ellie was suspicious, since she was not looking close to any of her relatives, and parents, she took a DNA test, and learned the truth that she was not biologically theirs.
After her parents learned the truth, they had sued the doctor, and then the journey led Ellie to Amanda. She learned from the doctor that she was the daughter of Amanda.
Amanda was shocked, as she couldn’t believe that she was not alone for all this years, before Sam arrived, and she had a daughter.
As she hugged to her daughter tightly, she was crying over the chance that was taken from her, the chance of raising her daughter.
As the wedding proceeded, Amanda and her daughter, Ellie had already bonded beautifully. The wedding went smooth, as she had a great time with her daughter.
After the wedding, adoptive parents of Ellie had came and talked with Amanda, about the grave of their true children. As Amanda and Ellie walked with them at the cemetery, they all cried together, as they shared their stories.
