WIFE WENT MAD WITH THE CHRISTMAS GIFT OF HER HUSBAND, SHE TOOK REVENGE ON THE NEXT YEAR

A wife shared a story on Reddit’s r/pettyrevenge subreddit. The woman stated that she went mad with her husband’s christmas gift, and she decided to take the revenge for the next year’s Christmas.
The OP stated that the incident happened 23 years ago, as she explained that her husband was loust when it came to giving gifts, and he would get the gifts he wanted for himself.
OP brought a big box as a gift 10 days before the Christmas. Her husband was excited when he saw the box. OP explained, “Mind you, we have always been pretty broke, so we (or should I say I) always bought for our children and his greedy family (MIL demands). We always did without.”
When the time for receiving the gifts came, her husband was excited, as he stated that she will like his present. OP opened the gift box, and saw the ShopVac her husband bought for her. But it was not a gift for the OP, as she stated that her husband bought the gift for her to clean the garage, his domain as OP shared. OP stated, “I was pissed!!!!! He bought it for himself. I would have been happy with a $5 necklace that turned my neck green.”
As she didn’t slept on the same bed with her husband, he came and stated that the OP was acting selfish, and he bought something the whole family could benefit. OP stated that she began planning for her revenge, that night.
And when the next Christmas came, she came with a big box again. Dressed with pretty gift wrappings.
When the time for the presents arrived, her husband was excited again, when he saw the big box. OP stated that she bought the present especially for him.
OP shared, “He opens the box, to find a case of toilet paper. I then quoted him. Christmas was not for what we would want but what we as a family need or could use. We all wipe. He was furious.”
As her husband was furious, and tried to complain to his family, they stated that he deserved it, after last year’s Christmas gifts.
