WHO IS THIS FAMOUS SINGER WHO HAD SUFFERED FROM DYSLEXIA, AND MET HER FATHER WHEN SHE WAS ELEVEN

She is one of the big names of the industry. She was born in El Centro, California., in 1946. Georgia Holt, her mother, was an actress, singer and songwriter. She had married five times, but raised her daughters as a single mother.
John Sarkisian, her father was a truck driver. The singer had met with her father, when she was 11.
She had stated that her mother was an incredible support in her life, but as she had supported and loved her, she had hit her too.

As her mother was a single mother, she had struggled as she worked hard for her daughters. But at some point, the daughters were in an orphanage, as Georgia decided to look for work at some other place.
She had struggled at her school too, as she had dyslexia. Her mom had supported her through her school life. The singer had stated that she can’t see the numbers, and her mother had said to her that some other person will deal with the numbers for her when the time comes.

She had left her school when she was 16, and went to the Hollywood, as she was aware that she could be a huge name in the entertainment industry.
She met with 27-year-old Salvatore Bono, “Sonny”. He was a good songwriter, but not that good as a singer, so when he saw that the girl’s voice was beautiful, he had started to work with her.

As they had worked together, Sonny took the %95 of the money they made, on their divorce in 1975, the rest of the %5 received by the lawyers.
The legendary singer we are talking about is the one and only, Cher.
After her divorce with Sonny, she had started to her solo career as a singer.
When it was 1980s, she had started to her acting career too, as she was a successful singer, as she had proved herself.

When it was 1983, she had starred in Silkwood, and got nominated for the Academy Awards, and Golden Globe.
She won an Oscar with her movie, Moonstruck, in 1987.
Today, she is 77 years old, and mother of two. As she stated that she doesn’t feel old, she is close to her 80th birthday.
Cher had married twice, as her first husband was Sonny. From Sonny, she had her child, Chastity Bono, who had a female-to-male transition, and changed his name to Chaz Bono.

Then she had married with Gregg Allman, and had her son, Elijah Blue Allman, in 1976.
She had thanked to her family genes for her good look at the age of 77. She had stated that she will keep her long hair, and her jeans.
She had revealed that her memoir is about to finish, as it is long-awaited. She had stated that it took that long, because she had a long, eventful life.
