WHEN THE TWIN SISTER WERE BORN IN 2010, THEY WERE NAMED AS THE “MOST BEAUTIFUL TWINS IN THE WORLD,” HOW THEY ARE LOOKING NOW
The twin sisters, Ava nad Leag were born in 2010, to their parents Jaqi and Kevin Clements. The twin sister’s childhood passed as they became famous on the social media, as people named them as “Most Beautiful Twins in the World.”
On their seventh birthday, on July 7, 2017, their mother and manager Jaqi had led them to a modelling career.
“Somehow overnight they are named ‘The Most Beautiful Twins in the World’ and catapult into a very successful career in no time,” their mother Jaqi said on the website of the twins.
The first picture their mother shared on the social media was captioned as, “7 years side by side 👯
#happybirthday #toyou #tome #tous”
As the twin sisters went viral on the social media, their life took an unexpected turn as they started to modelling in that early age.
“In a little over 2 months time, the girls had their first 1000 followers. Then exactly 3 months after I started their Instagram account, they hit 3000 followers,” Jaqi said.
Now the twins has more than 2 million followers on their social media account.
“It was like a wild fire,” mother of the twins Jaqi explained. “I remember thinking… is this normal? Is this a glitch? Am I going to wake up tomorrow and all of these followers will just be gone? It almost seemed too good to be true.”
Jaqi stated that her daughter’s geniune, loving nature had helped them to be liked by everyone. “My girls are easy and love everyone! In fact, they meet a new ‘friend’ for 10 minutes at an audition or a shoot and are already asking me if this new friend can be their cousin,” the mother stated.
The twin sisters had appeared in magazines such as, Harper’s Bazaar Brazil, Vanity Fair Italia, Maven, and InStyle. They also worked with Levi’s and Converse, and department stores such as Macy’s, and Nordstrom.
In 2019, their mother and manager Jaqi stated in an interview as, “This past year has been really fun and exciting for Ava and Leah. Whether it be private shopping experiences, gifted merchandise from brands all over the world, or taking pictures with fans, the girls have had an amazing ride so far.”
For the social media works they receive, Jaqi schedules it to weekend so her daughter’s wouldn’t miss their school. But if they were going to miss a class, Jaqi hires a teacher so the twins wouldn’t be left behind in school.
“On days they aren’t working, they go to school and then usually go to swim practice, dance class, or play outside with their friends in the neighborhood,” Jaqi said.
In 2019, the father of the twins, Kevin Clements was diagnosed with, T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. As Jaqi wrote on the website, the health struggle of the father of the family had worried the children.
“I’ll never forget the call from the doctor after she had read his CT Scan… The GOOD news is that it’s not a blood clot, however, we did find a mass, a large mass, and you need to admit yourself to the hospital ASAP,” Jaqi wrote.
Their struggle with Keving’s diagnosis with cancer and battle brought them closer as Jaqi said. Ava and Leah were ten at the time, and they suppoerted their father where they went to hospital together.
They had posed together with their father on their next visit, and they were always by his side whenever they could.
At the end of that month, the family celebrated Kevin’s 40th birthday. In the picture the family shared it was seen that Kevin was hit hard with the cancer treatment.
The twins also have a brother, and now working together with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. They also have their own brand, KAVEAH, where they work on it with their creativity.
