Let’s imagine a sunny, beautiful day, that you went to the sea for a good swim. But you see the square waves forming above the water. Do not, DO NOT, enter the sea, because it would be a fatal choice for you to choose.
As it is a sight to see, it is incredibly dangerous. The situation is called, “cross sea” as it means that two different waves are hitting each other.
“The conditions are quite common in the ocean and occur when a windsea and a swell, or two swell systems, coexist.” European Space Agency had said and added, “a large percentage of ship accidents occurred in crossing sea states.”
It is not that rare, but not that usual either. If you got caught while you were on the beach, stay on the beach and witness the beauty of the waves from outside, but if you got caught on a ship, stop moving the ship, and wait for waves to stop.
