VIVECA PAULIN, AND HER RELATIONSHIP WITH WILL FERREL

As she is from Sweeden, she is the reason why Will Ferrel had liked the Eurovision that much. She once asked her husband that if he would like to watch the Eurovision singing contest with her, and Will said, “What is that?”

As he recalled, he had stated, “I just sat there in front of the TV transfixed as to what was going on. I had had no idea. I could not believe this amazing show.”
As she was interested with art, she was graduated from Ponoma College in 1991, with a B.A. in Art History.
With her husband, Will Ferrel, she had met in an acting class. Later on, Will moved to Los Angeles to be close to her, and Viveca had found him a job as a typer at the auction house she was working.
When it was 1995, as Will was working for Saturday Night Live, he was selected as the worst-ever performer and then he left New York.

At that time, he was dating with another person, but they would still talk to each other for hours on the phone.
“[…] For me, Viv was the one that got away.” Ferrel had said.
When it was 2005, he became the highest-paid actor in industry and later he moved to Los Angeles. And there, he called Viveca and invited her for a drink where he talked with her as, “I was stunned. […] I went, ‘I just told my uncle that I’m going to marry you one day!'”
As she gave him a drive to his home, Ferrel tried to kiss her, but she decided to kiss on the cheek. Later on they had married.
When it was 2006, Ferrel was asked about his “awkward” marriage proposal to Viveca.

“It started serious but ended up comedic,” Ferrel had said. He chose to propose in the same beach where they had their first date. But Viveca was thinking that beaches, at night, are creepy.
“I was trying to think of what I was going to say and it just turned into, ‘So I, uh, really like you and, uh, anyway….’ Then I went down to a knee—at least I think I did—and proposed. So it was kind of funny, but not on purpose.” Ferrel explained.
They had married in 2000, and had three sons together, Magnus, Mattias and Axel.
He had paid tribute to his wife when he was accepting the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 2011, as he said, “But I do have to say sometimes you get a little lippy, okay! You got a big mouth, and you like to run it. And I’ll tell you one thing, and one thing only, okay, tonight is my night, all right?”
