THEY MOVED IN WITH THEIR 82-YEAR-OLD NEIGHBOR, SIMPLY, THEY ADOPTED A GRANDFATHER FOR THEIR FIVE CHILDREN

Sharaine Caraballo was nervous if her neighbors would like them, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, as she had four children, and they were noisy, so she was afraid that someone would say something mean.
Also, her family was the only black family in the neighborhood, so she was afraid of racism too.
As they moved in completely, they had no problems with their neighbors, and their next door neighbor, Paul Callahan loved the family.
Paul recently lost his wife, so he was grieving her, and missing her. He was feeling lonely, but children of Caraballo, loved him too as they had spend time together.
They met, when Callahan had offered some help to them when they moved in firs time. From that moment on, they had created a great bond, and eventually, Callahan became the grandfather of the children.

After he started to spend time in their house, Caraballa and Wilson learned that Callahan lost his wife recently, and he was feeling lonely since. They were sad for Callahan.
Caraballo said, “The kids run up to him like that’s their grandfather,”
As they were afraid to move in, at the beginning, after meeting with Callahan, the family were incredibly happy that they moved in, and met with their kind old neighbor.
Callahan was treating their children as if he was indeed the grandfather, and he was buying gifts to the children.

Sometimes the family would invite Callahan for dinner, and sometimes Callahan would come without an invitation, since they had created a bond.
Caraballo had announced on her Instagram account that Callahan as the super nice old neighbor, and told his story, and their joint story in their neighborhood, and the post received more than half a million likes.
“My family and I adopted him as ‘Uncle Paul.'” she had stated.
“It reminds me of when we, my wife and I, first started.” Callahan said.
“There’s just something about this family that makes me feel at home.”
“It doesn’t hurt to be nice. That’s the other thing, it costs you nothing, but a lot of times, you get a better return,” Callahan added.

To his story, and online reader had stated, “Widowed people become invisible. This family is wonderful to include this man with their family. We need so many more with this kind of compassion.”
