THE PROTECTIVE FAIRY GODMOTHER OF MILEY CYRUS, DOLLY PARTON

The legendary country name, Dolly Parton, is married with her husband of 57 years, Carl Thomas Dean. The couple had married in 1966, and had no kids, which Parton had explained why.

It was in 1982, when Parton had felt an abdominal pain, which she expereienced an abdominal bleeding. She cancelled her tour for that reason, and in 1984, she had a partial hysterectomy, and which was then she learned that she would never mother children.

After she learned the situation, she was depressed for two years. She stated that those times were terrible for her, and she felt that it came from God, as a way of telling her to slow down, to manage her life.

She explained that before she was diagnosed, she had plans with her husband, Dean, about having kids, and even they agreed on a name for a daughter they would have, Carla.

After the diagnosis, Parton and her husband, Dean had accepted their fate, and as they got older, they were happy that they never parented any childrend.

The legendary musician shared that if she would become a mother, she would have left her career, and that would cause her to not have her career she has now. She was believing that her kids would end her career.

Even though she was thinking that now, she is a godmother to another legendary singer.

As Parton is a close friend of Billy Ray Cyrus, she is the godmother of Miley Cyrus. After Miley wa born, Billy Ray had asked Parton to be the godmother of his daughter, which Parton had accepted.

Parton was serious on her godmother duties, which she helped Miley while she was starring as Hannah Montana. She was 13 when she received a huge success and wealth, which she didn’t affected from as she called, “new money syndrome,” after her godmother had taught her that she shouldn’t change with the success and the money.

Parton had talked about those times, as she stated, “Here I am, you know, Miley’s fairy godmother, and on the show and kind of sharing all that with her.”

“For me, watching her being such a pro, she didn’t know it, but I was watching her like a proud mama, thinking you go, you little thing, I’m so proud of you.”

As Cyrus stated, Parton had helped her to be more down to earth person. She learned from her godmother to be respectful and love people.

As she had taught her some knowledge, Parton also protected and supported Cyrus. She was defended by Patron, when Cyrus wanted to change her image from a child star to her current image.

“She is like me,” Parton said about Miley, as she praised her song writing skills, and her voice.

Parton had wanted Cyrus to follow her dreams, and never stop when someone tells her to. She encouraged her to walk on her own path, and do her own thing.

Cyrus calls her godmother “her idol,” and she sees her as her “role model.”

In 2022, Miley and Parton had hosted a TV special on NBC, “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party: Legendary.”

When Cyrus wanted to go brunette, and shared her intentions with Parton, she stated, “You can’t do that. You are me.” And Cyrus stayed a blonde.

Cyrus also shared from her social media account that it was an honor to duet “Wrecking Ball,” with Parton, and she shared, “I love Aunt Dolly.”

Parton also stated that it was “honored to be able to sing” with Miley, and she had stated for her that Miley was “the most gifted person” she know, and she was proud of her.
