THE INTERIOR OF THE TOWER OF DOOM, THE HOTEL THAT NO ONE HAD SEEN
£1.6 billion worth of hotel, is standing in the North Korean capital of Pyongyang. The Ryugyong Hotel was supposed to start receiving its customers 25 years ago.
People are saying that the hotel resembles with Barad-Dur, in the legendary books, The Lord Of The Rings.
There are more then 3,000 rooms in the never used hotel. But the construction of the hotel was stopped when North Korea had experienced an economic crisis in 1992, after the Soviet Union had collapsed.
In 2008, Egyptian contractor, the Orascom group had continued to the construction after 16 years of delay.
In 2011, the outside panels of the hotel were installed, and to North Korean authorities, the constructors had stated that the hotel will be available to use in 2012, and later it was delayed to 2013.
