THE FIREHOUSE OF ANDERSON COOPER, WHERE HE IS LIVING IN WITH HIS CHILDREN AND EX
The CNN anchor, Anderson Cooper had announced the birth of his second son on the 10th of February, 2022. He is coparenting his kids with his ex-boyfriend Benjamin Maisani.
When his son was born, Cooper had revealed the birth in his show, Anderson Cooper 360.
“This is Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper… 6.8 pounds at birth, healthy and happy [with] occasional [adorable] hiccups. He mostly sleeps, eats and poops, but already seems wise and thoughtful.” The anchor had sahred.
Cooper had thanked to the medical team who had helped to the birth of his second son. Then he continued with thanking to the surrogate of his second son.
On the April of 2020, his first son, Wyatt Morgan Cooper was born. And again, he announced his son on CNN too. On his interview on the “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” in 2022, Cooper explained the relationship of his sons as, “They seem to be getting along really well. I mean, ‘Getting along well’ — Sebastian sleeps. He can’t say Sebastian yet, he calls him Luke. So every morning he wants to go say ‘Good morning, Luke.'”
After his second son’s born, Cooper had took three weeks to care for his newborn. Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa had filled his place in his absence. Before his break of three weeks, Cooper said, “It’s great to be able to come home and decompress.”
“And every night to be able to feed Wyatt and give him his milk, he falls asleep on my chest, and there’s nothing better.”
As their morning routine, Cooper takes his children to diner every day. His children, Wyatt and Sebastian also likes to swim.
As Benjamin started to co-parent with his ex-boyfriend Anderson Cooper, when Wyatt was born. Even though they got separated, they had welcomed their second child as co-parents. “We’re a family.” Cooper said.
Cooper said that with Benjamin, they have an effortless co-parenting relationship. As he would go to his work at night, Benjamin takes care of the kids. As Cooper shared, Benjamin is also teaching French to their children too.
“We’re co-parents. We’re a family.” Benjamin says. After a little time later of his birth, Benjamin had adopted Wyatt as his son. Wyatt is calling Benjamin, “papa.”
In one of the interviews in 2023, Cooper said, “This is the best time in my life. There is no doubt about it.”
From 2009 to 2018, Cooper and Benjamin were in a romantic relationship. The couple had revealed their relationship in 2015. “Maisani is going to be a co-parent to Wyatt even though we’re not together anymore. He’s my family, and I want him to be Wyatt’s family as well.” Cooper said.
In 2021, Cooper talked about the relationship he has with Benjamin as, “It’s probably an unusual setup, but I knew he would be a great dad, and he is. We’re exes, but we’re family to each other, and we love each other as family and as co-parents.”
“I’ve always believed that if you’ve been with somebody and that ends, in terms of an intimate relationship, if you love somebody, there’s no reason why that love shouldn’t continue.”
On his appearance in “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” in 2021, he explained that Masiani wanted different things at first. “It’s interesting, because he wasn’t really sure he wanted to have a kid—which is one of the reasons we probably broke up—but then, he came around to the idea. Now he is such a great parent.”
On the 9th of June, in 2020, Anderson Cooper had opened the doors of his house, and showed the interior of his house which he converted from a rise station.
In the Wyatt’s nursery, Cooper chose the blue color which was fitting the theme of the house.
As the nursery was not over yet, Anderson was hanging some paintings, which one was made by Anderson’s late mother, Gloria Vanderbilt.
He also showed an image which was from Cooper’s childhood, his handprint. In the room, there were many stuffed animals.
Cooper explained that the all items which are in his son’s room, has a meaning and a story behind them.
Cooper bought the Greenwich Village, New York firehouse for $4.3 million, back in 2010. The original fire poles, dry hoses and the spiral staircases are kept in the house.
When it was 2015, Kevin Hart and David Beckhan had shot an H&M advertisement in the house.
He then had talked with The Hollywood Reporter in his house, and showed the interior again. Before some time the interview, Cooper had broke up with Masiani, and he was living with his dog, Lilly.
After years of restoring and inovating in the house, Cooper had an elevator. In his second floor, Cooper has a salon with taxidermy and Old Master paintings.
