THE COUPLE WHO ARE RETIRED, HAD BOOKED 51 CRUISES AND STATED THAT IT IS CHEAPER THAN A RETIREMENT HOUSE

Marty and Jess Ansen are living their lives in cruise ships, as they love it. They are on their cruise trips for more than a year, and they have no intention to return to the land.

Australian couple always liked to travel around, and when the COVID hit them, they needed to decrease their trips that both of them liked. And when it was over, they had bought 51 back-to-back cruise trips to enjoy rest of their retired lives.

Since June of 2022, they are on board of the Coral Princess, and they have many more months to spend their time in the ship. They stated that it is cheaper than a retirement house.

“We’re on board longer than anybody else. The wheels change over, but we stay on board.” The couple had stated.

The manager, Rem vem Rooyen, had stated about them as, “They’re like my second mom and dad on board.” Also, the ship crew became like a family to them too.

They even threw a birthday party for Jess, which made them feel like they had created a new family in the cruise ship.

“It’s a lifestyle,” said Jess about their trip.

The couple stated that the hard part of their trips, are to saying goodbye to the other passangers that they havee connected with.

For their own family, they are arrangign meetings with them when the time is appropriate, and they see their children and grandchildren, so they do not cut their ties with them, while cruising on the ship.
