SURPRISE SQUAD HELPED A VETERAN WHO NEEDED HELP, AS THEY HAD STATED THAT “IT IS OUR TURN TO HELP”

Larry Robertson is a veteran, that is having struggles with financial problems in his life. If a soldier doesn’t serve for a certain period of time, the payment they receive is not a money that someone can live with.
But with his luck, he had came against Fox 5 Surprise Squad, as they were paying for people’s shopping, in a grocery store.
Even with his terrible financial status, he had helped his friend, a disabled veteran, Stephanie, as he took his friend with him. Stephanie, as it was reported, were going to buy food for her dog and herself, as she was on her last $50.
As Dave Hall of Surprise Squad had made her day, when he said that the squad had paid for her groceries, they had noticed Larry, behind of Stephanie. Later on they had found out that Larry had founded a club, Bones for Blankets, as they lost some veteran friends in the streets, when they got froze to death.
Their aim was to, at least, get a blanket for the homeless veterans that are in need.
“No vet should be going through what she’s going through,” said Larry about his friend, Stephanie.
And after their interview, Dave had said to Larry that his groceries too were paid by the Surprise Squad, as he added, You served us. It’s our turn to serve you now.”
Dave said to Larry that he can get whatever he needs in his home, and they will pay. So, Surprise Squad had paid $278 for the groceries that Larry get from the store.
“This is just like overwhelming, I’ve been taking care of myself since I was 13,” Larry added.
