SHE SAW A MAN WHO WAS THE SPITTING IMAGE OF HER LATE HUSBAND, THE STEWARDESS WAS SHOCKED

Kristin was a stewardess on an airline. She recently lost her husband, and returned to her work. As a passenger was expecting his coffee, she had brought it and said, “I apologize for the delay, sir. Here’s your coffee……” But she dropped the coffee, and spilled it to the man.

“What the heck is wrong with you? Are you out of your mind? Can’t you see that there’s someone seated here?” The passenger yelled to her, as Kristin apologized. As she gave him a tissue to clean himself, she froze.

“This – This can’t be true, Kristin! You must be dreaming!” She said to herself, when her colleague, Cassandra came towards her.

“Please accept my apologies on behalf of my colleague, sir. I’ll clean it right away. And Mr. Moss,” Cassandra said.

“I’ll go grab you some coffee right now. Come with me, Kristin. Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience,”

“See, this is why I warned you not to return to work so soon! Kris, you need to rest! You are not prepared to work.” She said to Kristin.

“Just tell me one thing, Cassandra,” Kristin said, “You just called him Mr. Moss, didn’t you? Doesn’t he resemble my late husband?” She said as she showed the picture of her late husband.

“Look, Kris, that’s…” Cassandra was shocked too, as she saw the picture.

“Oh my gosh!” Cassandra gasped. “That man looks like your husband! But how is that….”

“I know, right? But how is this possible? That’s what I’m thinking,” Kristin said.

It happened three months ago, when she lost her husband, Bob, to a heart attack. They were married for ten years, and it was not much later, as her husband wanted her to leave her job, so they would spend more time together.

“Babe, you’ve been there for both of us for so long, and that’s enough. I want you to take a break and devote your time to the house and us.” Bob said to Kristin.

After six years, when Bob had started his own business, and gained much success with it, Kristin was ready to leave her profession, which she loved.

But sadly, her husband was taken from her, with a heart attack. She was left alone, as they had never welcomed any child. As time passed, she started to feel ill with her loneliness, since she closed herself to the world after she lost her husband, and wanted to return to her job.

“Kris! Can’t you hear me?” Cassandra yelled at her, as she lost herself with thoughts.

“He wants to talk to you.”

“Uh….huh….wants to talk to me? Who?”

“Mr. Moss. His full name is Steven Moss. He just told me he wants to talk to you.” Cassandra sadi to Kristin.

“To me? But…” Kristin was stressed.

“Yes, sir. How may I assist you?” She asked as she went to the Mr. Moss.

“Oh, I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I sensed you were tense. Is everything all right?”

“Thank you for your concern, sir,” Kristin said, “I’m all good. Is there anything else I can do for you?”

“Oh no, that’s all right. By the way,” he said, as he showed his wallet that was wet with coffee.

“This is my business card. I’m afraid I ruined your dress,” he said, as he showed the coffee stain that was on her skirt.

“My secretary will reimburse you. I apologize once more.”

“Oh, sir, that’s fine,” Kristin said. “You don’t have to.”

The man responded, “Please, I insist.”

“Thank you, sir,” Kristin said, “I really appreciate it. Have a nice day,”

As her shift was over, and she was home, she couldn’t sleep but to think the resemblence between her late husband and Mr. Moss. Then she decided to talk with her mother-in-law about the issue, thinking that maybe she would know something.

“Kristin? Is everything alright?” Mrs. Fisher said, when she saw her daughter-in-law at her door.

“I’m sorry for disturbing you so early in the morning, Mrs. Fisher, but I needed to talk about something important.”

“Oh, come in. Come in. I was just making breakfast. Anyway, after you two moved out, this place never felt like home anymore.” Mrs. Fisher said.

“Actually, Mrs. Fisher, I wanted to speak with you about Bob. I know this may seem unusual to you, but I met this guy on a flight yesterday….and he…he looked exactly like Bob.” Kristin said.

Her mother-in-law was shocked, as she continued on her subject. “Is everything okay, Mrs. Fisher’? You look…” Kristin cut herself.

“I have something to tell you, Kristin. Could you please go to my room and get the album from my bedside drawer?” Mrs. Fisher said.

As she brought the photo album, Mrs. Fisher had said, as she showed a picture. “You see these babies? It’s Bob and his twin brother.”

“What?” Kristin was shocked.

“You know that Bobby didn’t have a father. He left me when I got pregnant. Later I found out that I was having twins. I gave birth to them, but I knew that I couldn’t bring up two sons even then. I was 19 years old, my parents were poor, and I was still a student. So I decided that I would give up one child. I took their picture before leaving one of them at an orphanage. It wasn’t an easy decision, but I didn’t have a choice.” Mrs. Fisher had explained.

Both of the women had cried as they continued on their talk. Then Kristin wanted to surprise Mrs. Fisher, as she called Mr. Moss’ secretary.

Then Kristin explained everything to Steven, and asked for a visit, if he is available. Steven became incredibly happy, as he was trying to find his biological parents.

He was 18, when his adoptive parents had talked with him about his adopton. He knew the name of his biological mother, but not any other thing.

He had bought a ticket to a flight, and went there on the next day.

As Mrs. Fisher had opened the door, she was shocked, as she saw her son, Steven. They had talked for long hours, and Steven stated that he had forgave her, as she apologized to him.
