SHE HAD KICKED HER DAUGHTERS OUT OF THE HOUSE, ONE OF THEM WAS PREGNANT, AND THE OTHER ONE HAD A NEWBORN BABY

Mrs. Halls never had an easy life, as she had lost her parents at a very young age, and she lost her husband a little while later she had gave birth to their second daughter, Kathy.

She didn’t got a good education, since she needed to work since she was a small girl. She had lived with her 5-year-old daughter, Isabel and her newborn baby girl, Kathy. She had to work so hard in order to give her daughters a good life, and had no time to interact with her daughters, as they grew.

Her daughters had the absence of a parent in their lives, since they had lost their father at an early age, and their mother had worked a lot. But Mrs. Halls was a loving mother, who worked for her children.

As she had arrived to her house from work, she saw a man with her daughter, Isabel. Jack was his name. She had stated that she had married with Jack, and wanted to live with her mother, since they had no job to maintain a house to rent.

Mrs. Halls didn’t like the idea, but said nothing. They were living in a room, while she was living on the other. Kathy had moved in to her mother’s room.

She was 60, when she decided to stop working, as she had enough, and was tired. She then transformed to a mother that had kicked her daughters out, from a loving mother, who sacrificed herself for her daughters.

The door knocked on that evening. Mrs. Halls saw a man with her daughter Kathy, “Why are you home so late, Kathy? And who is this young man?” She said.

“Well, his name is Adam, mom. He’s my boyfriend.” Kathy said.

“You didn’t tell me he was coming over, Kathy,”

“Oh, no, Mrs. Halls, it’s completely fine,” said Adam. “Can we come inside, though?”

Mrs. Halls had accepted them into her house.
“So what do you do for a living, Adam?” She asked.

“Well, I’m still looking for a job, Mrs. Halls. However, I expect that I will be able to settle soon,” Adam said.

“Well…” As Adam was speaking, Kathy had cut him. “Mom, Adam, and I are planning on moving in together. His dad is pretty strict, and he has told Adam we can’t get married until he’s found a job! And…”

“And?” Asked Mrs. Halls.

“Adam and I are expecting a child, mom. I’m pregnant.” Kathy said.

“A child?! You people aren’t in good financial shape, and you don’t have a place to stay either. How do you plan on even raising that child?” Said Mrs. Halls.

“That’s what I was saying … we were thinking of moving in here,” said Kathy.

“What? No way, Kathy,” said Mrs. Halls.

“We don’t have enough space. Isabel and her husband have already been staying here for about two years, and neither has been able to find work. I’m still supporting them, and I don’t think I can do it again.”

“But mom, if Isabel can stay here with her family, why can’t I? Adam and I will surely get a job. You can make adjustments in the living room or possibly in the kitchen as far as space is concerned. Adam and I will adjust in your room.”

Mrs. Halls quietly responded, “You’re correct, honey. We need to make some adjustments.”

“Oh, really? Can we stay?” Kathy was overjoyed.

“No, honey, you are correct in that I should not have permitted Isabel to stay here!” Mrs. Halls shouted.

“All of you come here, fast!” She shouted again. “You guys need to get out of here right now! Pack your belongings and find your accommodations!”

“But mom, where do we go now? It’s snowing outside, and we don’t have money or any other place to stay. Plus, I have a baby, and Kathy is pregnant,” Isabel said.

“Well, that’s your headache, honey. I sacrificed everything for you guys, including my comfort. But what did you do? You guys took me for granted. Today, my younger daughter demanded that I sleep in the kitchen so that her boyfriend could be comfortable. Are you serious? You guys don’t respect your mother at all?”

Everyone was silent, except Mrs. Halls. “Staying silent isn’t going to help you! You guys only have one hour. Get moving!”

As the daughters had tried to convince their mother a lot, it was in vain, since Mrs. Halls had made her mind.

Ten years later, they had reunited on their mother’s house.

The daughters had stated that when they had worked for their own children, they had understood the sacrifice their mother had made for them.

“Sorry, Mom, we had no idea how much you were giving up for us. We understand how tough it must have been for you,” Isabel said, and Kathy added, “Yes, mom. Please forgive us. In fact, please move in with one of us. We’re sorry we didn’t contact you even once in 10 years,”

“Ah, my girls have finally grown up! By the way, when shall we all meet for a family dinner at my home? And don’t worry, we have enough space for all of us!” Mrs. Halls had hugged her daughters, as she was crying.
