While Liz was driving the car, one of her tire blew, and she lost control of the car, as she drive away from the road.
Besides Liz, there were no harm done to any of their children, or Brad. But for Liz, news was not good, since she had broke her back, and sadly, she was paralyzed from the below of her waist.
She had thought that Brad would leave her, as she was now a disabled, half-a-woman. But at that point, while she was lying on her hospital bed, Brad had proposed to her, and they had tied the not.

It was hard for her to be in a wheelchair, as she was loving their family hikes, and sometimes, on a hard terrain, she was staying behind and saying to her family to move on.
Her crying over staying behind, had broke the heart of Brad, and he came up with a plan, as an old army technician.
He started his efforts to build an off-road wheelchair for his wife, so she wouldn’t be left behind, as they move on with their hike.

He had spent many hours and days in his garage, as he was loud a lot too, that his neighbors and family had questioned.
After many hours of work, Brad had called Liz to their garage, and show her the wheelchair he built for his wife, an electric wheelchair than can move off-road.

As his wheelchair went viral, NPC Robotics had seen and impressed with his work, and they had worked together for a prototype of a more advanced model.
