Daughter of Mary Lou Retton, the Olympic hero of US, had gave new update regarding her struggle in the ICU, as she was hospitalzied.
Shayla Kelley Schrepfer, her daughter had gave a new update regarding her mother’s life.
Last week, Schrepfer had stated that, “As far as an update goes, she’s still fighting. It’s going to be a day-by-day process.”
“She’s been treated with the best of the best professionals here and it has been such a blessing to have their hands on her.”
And now, she had gave a new update, with good news.
“Prayers have been felt and have been answered,” she started her Instagram post that she gave a new update on her mother, Mary Lou Retton.
“Although she remains in the ICU, her path to recovery is steadily unfolding. Her fighting spirit is truly shining!”
“Her breathing is becoming stronger, and her reliance on machines is diminishing.”
Her family had started a fundraising event to pay her medical expenses, as it raised to $400,000.
“Though it’s a lengthy journey, witnessing these improvements is incredibly heartening,”
“She’s responding so well to treatments.” She stated.
