MOTHER SAW THAT HER MOTHER-IN-LAW WAS BREASFEEDING HER CHILD, FROM THE BABY MONITOR
The Redditor mother, u/milbfthrowaway, had shared her story at the Reddit’s r/AITA subreddit. She explained that she doesn’t want her mother-in-law to take car of her child while her and her husband is working on their jobs, since she caught her mother-in-law trying to breastfeed her child.
The mother had explained that she has a 2-month-old child. The mother-in-law had came into their house to help them with their child, and she cared for him without wanting anything, and she stated that they were grateful of her about that.
She explained that she is pumping milk from her breasts so her mother-in-law would feed him when she is away. She said that both her son and herself loves the nursing moments, and that created an incredible bond between them.
As she was working on one day, she wanted to checl the house from the baby monitor that is connected to her phone, since the mother-in-law had informed her that her son wouldn’t stop crying. As she opened the phone app, and connected to the baby camera, she saw that her mother-in-law was trying to breastfeed her son.
She was shocked, and immediately called her but she didn’t pick the phone. Then she called her husband, and he calmed her. Then they learned that their baby was crying so much, and she couldn’t his crying, so she tried to breastfed him.
At their conversation with her husband, her mother-in-law said, “She was mad that I had checked the camera and told him it was an invasion of privacy.”
The OP stated that she doesn’t want her MIL to be around her son anymore, and since they can afford a nanny or a daycare, she talked with her MIL. Then she had called her the B word, and stated that she just wanted to calm her grandson, and nothing more. The OP explained, “My husband understands why I’m upset, but wants to give her another chance to watch the baby. He also doesn’t want to spend the money to get a nanny or do daycare when she can care for our baby for free.”
