MOTHER FOUND OUT THAT THE DAYCARE SHE WAS TAKING HER DAUGHTER TO, WAS LOCKING HER ALONE, THE MOTHER HAD SUED THE DAYCARE
The mother had found out that the daycare she was taking her daughter in, she was being locked in alone, then she had took the legal action towards the day care.
A mother from Florida, Stephanie Martinez, was late to pick her daughter up from the daycare, and it was just for a minute. She saw that her daughter, Anastasia Brathwaite, was locked in, as the daycare was closed when she had arrived.
She was sending her daughter to the Plantation KinderCare, and the daycare usually closing as the time hits to 6p.m. But the staff of the daycare needs to stay with the children, as if a parent arrives late.
As Martinez was late for picking her daughter from the daycare, she saw that noone was there, and her daughter was locked inside.
There were no staff that working for the daycare to be found around. She was frozen, whe she saw her daughter was locked in, as the lights of the daycare was closed.
“I started knocking. I banged on every window. I couldn’t see anything, everything was dark,” Martinez said.
The moments where she had saved her daughter from the daycare can be seen on YouTube. Martinez immediately called 911, and informed the authorities regarding her situation with her daughter.
“She’s super traumatized. It’s not fair.”
“It’s the worst feeling ever. You feel helpless.”
She had stated that she was late for 20 minutes, and everone left her daughter alone in the darkness.
A representative of the daycare had talked with The Sun, and they stated that they were happy that Anastasia was saved from the daycare, unharmed. They had stated that the events should have never happened.
They alse expressed that they will give more training to their staff, and to those people who were present when the terrible event happened.
Even though they had shared their apologiez, Martinez was not okay with them, and decided to take the legal action to face them in the court.
