MAN YELLED AT THE LITLLE BOY IN THE RESTAURANT, THEN GOT KICKED OUT
A man had shared his story on Reddit’s r/AITA subreddit. The man stated that he can’t stand children, and one day as he was at the restaurant with his friends, he yelled at a child after a series of bad experince, then they got kicked out as he argued with the parents too. Then, the Redditor asked that if he was wrong.
The OP stated that he was never comfortable around children, as he explained that he recently started to be around with his nieces and nephews, as he is still having problem with interacting them.
And then he talked about his restaurant experience, where things went wrong. As the OP stated, he was in a sit-down restaurant with his friends. After they found their table, a family with children sat next to their table. As the OP didn’t liked the situation, he shared that he tried to kept his frustration.
OP said that the boy next to their table was too loud, and his parents were not doing anything to keep him silent. OP shared that as time passed, he became more and more angry, since the boy kept being loud, and ruining a nice evening with his friends. After a while later, the boy started to run around the table, and as the OP was heading to the restroom, the boy bumped into OP’s leg.
At that point, OP lost his control and shouted, “Get away from me, you stupid idiot!”
The boy cried, and ran back to his parents, as the parents started to yell at the OP, as they were protective over their children. Then it turned into an argument, where OP called them ignorant parents, who couldn’t even control their child. Then the restaurant manager came, and asked OP and his friends to leave.
After they paid their checks, and left, OP’s friends stated that what he did at the restaurant was not a sane move, as he shouldn’t have shouted the child. The OP asked that if he was wrong.
The Redditors who commented under the post stated that the situation would depend on what kind of restaurant the OP and his friends went to, since if the restaurant they went to was a fancy place, the kid should be behaved, but if it’s a simple chain restaurant, what did he expect?
