As Sarah had woke at 6:30 in the morning, she was getting ready for her job, as she was dreaming the cup of coffee she would have on the drive-thru.
When she got in the line of the drive-thru of the coffee shop, she was amazed when she heard the barista’s words as, “Your coffee has been covered by the car ahead of you.”
“Really?” Sarah asked as she was happy with the occasion.
“Yes, the woman in the car ahead wanted to pay it forward today. Enjoy your coffee!” Said barista to Sarah.
As she was leaving happily, to perform her presentation at work, she had decided to do the same and spread more positivity, she had parked her car and started to move towards the coffee shop.
“I’d like to pay for the coffee of the person in the car behind me.” She said when she entered.
Cashier smiled to her and accepted her payment. At that point she wasn’t aware that she was about the start a chain of kindness.
As she was wondering what would the other driver do, when they learnt that their coffee was paid for them, she decided to wait a little to observe. When the middle-aged man had learnt that his coffee was paid for him, he said, “That’s wonderful! Please use the money I was going to spend to pay for the coffee of the car behind me.”
As she started a trend at the coffee, she was unaware of it. Many people had attented to that trend to be a part of it.
When she had went to have her morning coffee again on the next morning, she saw that the chain she started is still continuing. It even went viral on the social media and the local news had made a cover story for the occasion.
