LIAM NEESON AND HIS LATE WIFE NATASHA RICHARDSON’S SON REMEMBERED HIS MOTHER ON HER 15TH DEATH ANNIVERSARY
Daniel Neeson, the son of Liam Neeson and Natasha Richardson, was only 12 when his mother lost her life. His brother Michael was only one at the time. Daniel stated that he looks “forward to reuniting one day,” and accepting the “greatest life force” as love.
On the 19th of March, Daniel had posted the tribute about his mother, where the picture of his mother was in black and white, Daniel wrote, “15 years since you’ve left this plane onto forever more. I look forward to reuniting one day but for now I take solace in knowing you’re beside me every step of the way. Hopefully, I’m making you proud. I think you would definitely be proud of my margarita skills. She was the OG margarita mama!”
Daniel’s skills with margarita was not a reference in vain, as he co-founded DNA Sprits in 2017.
“Little did she know I would one day start my own tequila brand and have way too many margaritas at my fingertips,” Daniel said.
“Change is inevitable, and we must embrace it with open arms. If you’re a believer or not in quantum physics, the past, future and present coexist. We’re all interconnected here and over there through love. The greatest life force. choose it above all else,” Daniel had finished his tribute to his mother.
Under the post, there were many comments about Natasha, where fans had shared their positive thoughts with Daniel and late Natasha Richardson.
“Love you so much Danny. And so proud of you. Your mom would LOVE your margaritas, and she was the supreme connoisseur!”
“Beautiful words!! She must be very proud of you.”
“I can not believe it’s been 15 years. I remember how our hearts ached for you and your family during that time. She was an amazing woman who inspired her sons to do great things. Her spirit lives on in your hearts and in so many other ways,”
“She was a beautiful, talented, graceful woman; a great example of a life lived well! Gone too soon but she will always be with you,”
Short before Daniel posted his tribute to his mother, his father Liam Neeson was seen in the streets of New York, where he was wearing a navy suit with Daniel’s tequila brand DE-NADA.
Daniel had shared his mother from his social media before too, as he wrote in 2018, “9 years stronger. No one’s ever gone, they become more alive.”
Daniel’s brother Michael on the other hand, had took his mother’s last name to honor her as he stated in an interview, “It was a way to honor her and her side of the family and carry on the name.”
Natasha Richardson was only 45 when she passed away, after the skiing accident she involved in 2009, at the Mont Tremblant ski resort in Quebec.
As she was fine after the accident, as she didn’t see a doctor, her situation got worsened, and led to her passing. In only two hours, she was needed a transfer to a hospital in Montreal, before she was sent to Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. She passed away on the next day.
In Liam Neeson’s “60 Minutes” interview, the actor stated, “I mourn for her… I visit her grave on a very regular basis.”
When he was asked about his son Michael taking his mother’s last name, Neeson said, “I think he did the right thing; I’d hate for him to be constantly asked: ‘Oh are you Liam Neeson’s son?'”
