JIMMY AND ROSALYNN CARTER ARE IN A HOSPICE TOGETHER, TO BE TOGETHER AT THEIR FINAL TIMES
99-year-old former president, Jimmy Carter, had stated for the long life he is living as, “Marry the best spouse: someone who will take care of you and engage and do things to challenge you and keep you alive and interested in life.”
He is married with his wife, Rosalynn Carter, since 1946.
As they had shared few years ago that they are doing great, nowadays, they went under a hospice care to live their final moments together, as people got concerned for them.
Josh Carter, their grandson is giving updates about them, from time to time. He had stated, “They are still holding hands… it’s just amazing,”
In February, Jimmy Carter had decided to live in a hospice, after he had went to hospital several times. His grandson, Josh, had stated, “My grandfather right now is really physically limited — he’s coming to the end, as is obvious by the fact that he’s been in hospice.”
“Odds are I’m gonna lose my grandfather before my grandmother. He’s in hospice care and she’s not, and it’s just math.” Josh had added.
As people would expect the passing of Jimmy Carter, before his 96-year-old wife Rosalynn, new health update about her might change some things.
Jason Carter, had stated that Rosalyn Carter, and Jimmy Carter had entered their hospice to live their final moments together, to not miss eachother. Jason also asked for the privacy of his family, since these things are delicate matters.
The Carter family also revelaed that, the grandmother, Rosalynn was diagnosed with dementia.
“She still knows who we are, for the most part — that we are family.” Josh Carter had said.
Jason Carter had stated that they want some privacy on the matter, as their grandmother and grandfather are living happily, and healthily under the care of the hospice.
