JANITOR MOTHER WAS A LAUGHING SUBJECT AT HER SON’S WEDDING, BUT THE WORDS SHE SPOKE MADE EVERYONE SILENT

As she had a hard and rough childhood, Maria always fought in her whole life. But with her son, Aiden, she fought the hardest, as she wanted the best for her son.
She worked as a janitor in a cleaning company, but her job’s payment was not enough for her, she had problems at the end of the months. She was working 12 hours a day for her son, Adiden, and when he was old enough, she sent her to a boarding school with good education.
“I’m gonna work real hard off to make sure you can attend college. Momma’s got you covered, okay,” she said to her son.
As years passed, Aiden came and told his mother that he met with a girl, as he described her to his mother, as he stated that her name is Linda.
As it is learnt that Linda was the daughter of a wealthy family of doctors. “Listen, son, I don’t want you to get your heart broken. But Linda comes from wealth, and her family might look down on you,” Maria said to her son.
“Don’t worry, mom. She knows where we’re from, and she doesn’t care. She loves me as I am. Trust me, you’ll see,” Aiden repsonded to his mother.
They had stayed as a couple after their graduation from high school, and went to the same college.
As Maria had met with Linda, she had found out why her son loves her, as Linda was a person that is humble, understanding, and didn’t had any prejudice towards anyone.
As she learnt that Aiden and Linda got engaged, she was incredibly happy. And she wanted to have an engagement party, as she wanted to meet with Linda’s parents, which Linda had said, “I don’t think that’s going to happen, Maria. My parents are very stuck up, so when they learned about Aiden’s background, they didn’t give their blessing,”
As time passed, her parents gave their blessing to Aiden, and decided to pay for their wedding.
On their meeting, Linda’s parents, Hugh and Elizabeth had questioned Mary, about her education, and she said, “I didn’t get the chance to finish my studies because Aiden’s dad left me to raise him alone.”
“Well, if we hadn’t worked hard, then we couldn’t have given Linda all of this,” Elizabeth said, unnecessarily.
“We know you are both house-hunting and will move in together soon. So we’re going to pay for all of your furniture and appliances,” Hugh and Elizabeth had said to their son-in-law and their daughter.
“Once you’ve found a house, it will be fully furnished,”
As Maria was judged by them, she was happy for her son, because he was going to be happy, and good with Linda.
When it was Maria’s turn the speak, she spoke, she said that, “I worked all my life and saved up to pay for your college tuition because I knew it would be expensive. Then you decided you wanted to be a doctor, and I thought, wow, even more expensive,”
“The funny thing is, you got a scholarship to study medicine anyway, so you didn’t even need all the money I saved. So now that you’re about to get your doctorate and you’re getting married to this brilliant young woman, what better way to congratulate you than by buying you a house,”
Everyone in the wedding got shocked, as Maria had handed over the envelope where the documents of the house were, and the keys.
When the wedding was over, Linda’s parents, Elizabeth and Hugh had approached to Maria and said, “We’re really sorry. We’ve mistreated you since the moment we met you. We apologize for judging you. You’ve really shown us how remarkable you are,”
“Just remember, some of us might come from nothing, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be something,” said Maria.
