The legendary actor of Friends, Matthew Perry, had passed away on the 29th of October. As he had relationships with big names of Hollywood, like Cameron Diaz and Julia Roberts, he never had a child, as he would like to.
On his memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Terrible Big Thing”, that was published on the last year, he had talked about his relationships and how his alcoholism had axed them, but in some his parents had took him to rehab, like Gabrielle Bober.
As he had mentioned on his memoir, he had made out with Valeri Bertinelli, also dated with Tricia Fisher for two timesi but left her again due to his own fears.
As he shared on his book, he had made out with Gwyneth Palthrow too, while they were on a party together. But his first high celebrity from Hollywood is Julia Roberts. Which they also had appeared on the TV show Friends together, while they were together.
He had talked in his book that dating with Roberts was too much for him, as he was scared that she would left him, as he shared, “Why would she not? I was not enough; I could never be enough (…). So instead of facing the inevitable agony of losing her, I broke up with the beautiful and brilliant Julia Roberts.”
Then he started his relationship with Gabrielle Allan. Whom she had made him go to rehab. And again, his alcoholism and drug abuse had axed his relationship. Then he dated with Jamie Tarses, as she had stood with him through his struggle against substance abuse.
For two years, Matthew had dated with Rachell Dunn, and separated in 2005, again due to his drug and alcohol abuse. Then Natasha Wagner came, and later on Cameron Diaz, as she had broke up with Justin Timberlake.
The longest relationship that Matthew had was with Lizzy Caplan. They were just hanging out, than it turned to a relationship that lasted for six years. Their separation damaged him emotionally. He had thought to propose to her, and at his mind, they had two children and a house, but he ended up all alone at the age of 53.
He was engaged to Molly Hurwitz in 2020, but again, they had separated on 2021.
He had lost his life alone, at his hot tub. As he stated on his book, he was over the fear that was making him lose his relationship with many great woman. He had described himself as a rich loner, at his interviews.
On his memoir, he also gave messages to his co-stars on Friends. Jennifer Anniston was one of them, as he thanked Anniston for let him look at her beautiful face over they years they had worked together.
They had met before the show, as Perry had asked for a date, and Anniston said no, but they could be friends, which Perry didn’t wanted.
As he had a crush on Jennifer, he had found it hard to work on the set.
“I’m feeling more confident, and I’m not afraid of love anymore, so the next girl I go out with, better watch out.” Perry stated.
