HUSBAND KICKED HIS MOTHER OUT AFTER HER CHRISTMAS GIFT TO HER DAUGHTER-IN-LAW

The woman started her story, as she stated that her mother-in-law tried to set up a play, as she was seeming thoughtful with her gift.
She explained that her husband had a failed marriage with a woman named Rose, and divorced two years ago before they met. As her mother-in-law was seemingly nice towards her at the beginning, as time passed, her true face started to come off.
She occasionally called OP Rose, accidentally. Then kept comparing their lives and their looks. When they were in public, her mother-in-law would act as if she was the kind lady, but at home, she was the witch without her hat and broom.
As time passed, she became more started to act more violently, and stated that she wasn’t a good wife for her son, as her previous bride, Rose was.
As OP decided not to mention these terrible comments to her husband, she saw that her husband was sensing something. And what shocked the OP was, her husband explained that his mother hated his ex-wife.
On the Christmas Eve, the OP hosted the gathering. It was a lovely evening, until the OP opened the gift she received from her mother-in-law.
She gifted her expensive, mesmerizing earrings. As every guest was shocked, she later realised that these earrings were belonged to Rose, ex-wife of her husband. Mother-in-law was smiling, as she was the devilish witch.
At that moment, her husband stand up, and told his mother to leave. As she was shocked with the action of her son, OP said, “Wait. I’ll be back in a minute.”
Then she went and brought the picture, wrapped it and presented to her mother-in-law. As the house was silent, she spoke.
“This is a picture of you, my husband, and Rose,”
“You always compared me to her. Not in my favor. I guessed this picture would warm your heart. And now I want you to leave.”
As the eyes of her mother-in-law started to get wet, her husband had said, “Mom, you need to leave,”
After she left, the family calmed down slowly, and as time passed, they forget the terrible efforts of mother-in-law to kill their joy, with her ill intentions.
