The iconic actor of the legendary TV show, Friends, Matt LeBlanc, is now focused on his daughter, as he left his public life on behind.
As people loved him from the Friends, he hadn’t appeared on much shows or movies, he got left the public eye, as he focused on his daughter.
He married with his wife, Melissa McKnight in 2003, on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. His co-stars, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, and David Schwimmer had attended to his private ceremony.
Three years later, he got separated with Melissa. The couple had stated that they had differences in their lives, and couldn’t work it out. They had a peaceful divorce, and shared the custody of their daughter, Marina. Until Marina was 18, LeBlanc paid $15,000 monthly as a child support.
As his marriage ended, and his daughter was diagnosed with a mental problem, LeBlanc slowly faded away from the screens, as he only acted in Friends.
He had stated that his broken marriage, and his focus on his daughter had caused his disappearance from the screens.
“My daughter was diagnosed with a problem with her head. It was a very dark period.” LeBlanc had stated.
A nanny that was caring for his daughter had leaked her condition, and that made things worse for LeBlanc.
LeBlanc had stated that they had a great relationship with his wife, but when their daughter had diagnosed with cortical dysplasia, he couldn’t spend time on his marriage with his wife, and focused on his work, and daughter.
He stated that his father had married almost ten times, and the things his father and LeBlanc went through, made him think about his decisions that would affect himself and his daughter.
He is a doting father to his daughter, Marina, and he wants to stay that way. He had revealed that leaving some things behind, and spending time with his daughter is an amazing thing.
