HER SON STOPPED TALKING WITH HER, AFTER SHE PUNISHED HER FOR HE BULLIED AN INNOCENT GIRL FROM HIS SCHOOL
A mother had shared her story on Reddit, with her username, u/AITAWasITooHarshMom, on the r/AITA subreddit. She stated that she punished her son after he bullied an innocent disabled girl from his school, and then he left her to live with her ex-husband, and cut his ties with her.
The mother stated that they were living with her new husband Tom, his daughter 18-year-old Alyssa, and her 19-year-old son Jack. Alyssa is from Tom’s previous marriage, and Jack is from OP’s former marriage with her ex-husband, Dan.
The mother had shared that her son is popular in his school, and he is on the wrestling team. She stated that a heavily autistic girl has a crash on his son, and after his friends had offered him some money, $800, Jack had bullied the autistic girl as he wore a gorilla suit, at the prom of their school.
After OP learned about the situation, she had wake her son, and screamed at her as she couldn’t believe that her son would be that harmful towards and innocent autistic girl. Then Tom learned what happened and he involved with the situation too.
Tom and Jack had a huge fight, where it ended with OP taking every elektronic stuff of Jack, and the car that they gifted him for his graduation away, and gave the car to Tom’s daughter, Alyssa.
A few weeks had passed, and on Jack’s birthday, Dan, her ex-husband came and took Jack, as he called his father to come and pick him. “What is this? The custody agreement says you don’t get him on this birthday?” His husband, Tom said, as Dan responded, “Hey kid, I’m here for the jail break.”
And he continued to Jack as he pointed the brand new Mustang, “Hope you like Fords. You can practice driving your new car on a road trip back to NY. Let’s take a detour to NoLa.” Both Jack and Dan had ignored the others, as Jack left the house.
Since Jack left the house, he never had contacted with his mother, and he only is talking to her step-sister Alyssa.
