HER GRAY HAIRS CAUSED CRITICISM, SO SARAH JESSICA PARKER DECIDED TO TALK TO HER ONLINE ATTACKERS
Star of the iconic TV show, Carrie Bradshaw of the Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker faced criticism over her gray hair.
As she was one of the glam and glitz symbol for the women of the world, she is still mesmerizing people with her look.
She revealed in her interview to PEOPLE that happened in 2012, that herself and her character, Carrie Bradshaw has opposite taste for fashion, as she said, “It’s not how I think of myself, and I think it’s probably the healthier approach.”
As she loves to wear good clothes, and beautiful things, she stated that she is not like Carrie Bradshaw, in terms of fashion addiction.
“It’s just not a reality — not when you have three kids, and you go to the market, and there are hungry people at home. You have a limited time to do it. There’s just no time to let vanity enter into that.”
She had received many comments over her fashion choices, in the years that passed, especially her outfit choice at the Met Gala. As she mesmerized many with her look, there were still people had talked in a bad way for her.
As people has their rights to talk, she stated that being criticised for her own likes, she said that she couldn’t understand. She said, “So, what’s the point of the criticism?”
She had a rouhg time, when Maxi poll chose her as, “Unsexiest Woman Alive”, as she didn’t operated on herself, to fit the beauty standarts of the others.
She had felt the pain, as she was selected “ugly” in people’s terms, when she didn’t want to fill her lips with injections, or change the shape of her jaw or nose.
On top of that, when the paparazzi had released her makeup free photos on the internet, she faced many harming comments, that was aiming her appearance. Andy Cohen had defended her, as he stated he has gray hair too, and why he was never criticised over his gray hair. He called the people who are attacking her are “misogynistic.”
Parker said in her interview with Vogue Magazine, “It almost feels as if people don’t want us to be perfectly OK with where we are, as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better.”
“I know what I look like. I have no choice. What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?”
As she received many mean criticism towards her look, she again received mean comments in 2018s Met Gala. As people had mocked her as calling her a senior citizen.
Then she decided to focus on her family, as her family is the only thing that matters.
She has three children, James Wilkie Broderick, Tabitha Hodge Broderick and Marion Loretta Elwee Broderick.
She met with her husband, Broderick in the 90s, and married in 1997. They are still together, as they keep their love strong for years.
She had stated, “I know this sounds nuts, but we have lives that allow us to be away and come back together.”
“It’s very unique because I wouldn’t remember most people the first time I saw them come down the street. [But] I remember it as clear as day.”
