HER DAUGHTER HAD SANG HER FAVORITE SONG TO HER MOTHER, BEFORE SHE PASSED AWAY

A mother, Magalli Jimenez, had shared the final moments of her 2-year-old daughter, Ava Skye. Ava was 13 months old, when her parents had learnt that she was terminally ill.

Her daughter was in pain, so Jimenez took Ava to her doctor. Then they had learnt the diagnosis of Ava, muscle cancer was Ava’s sickness, and it was causing her pain, and preventing her development.

Jimenez was ready to fight, as her daughter was a fighter too. Ava’s oncologist had created a plan for her treatment, but it was painful for Jimenez to witness her daughter’s pain, as she was receiving her chemo.

After hours of chemo, the cancer of Ava went into remission, as her parents were over the clouds with the happiness of the news, but sadly, the cancer returned on the next months.

It was July of 2022, when Ava was diagnosed with cancer again, and this time, the doctors had revealed that this time, it was terminal.

Jimenez was devastated, as she learned that she had left only few weeks to spend with her daughter. Ava slowly became weaker and weaker, until she passed.

Her mother, Jimenez took her daughter into a hospice care, as Ava’s health slowly declined. She first lost her movement, and later, she was unable to talk.

“We will just let her live her life and enjoy her and do all the things that we’ve ever wanted to do with her. We’ve made a bucket list for her,” Jimenez said.

Davina Galvan, frien of Jimenez, had created a GoFundMe page for the family of Ava, in order to raise $5,000 for the family.

It was 22nd of August, 2022, when Ava lost her life, as her mother, Jimenez’s arms. Just a day before Ava’s passing, she had captured the moments, where her daughter, Ava was singing her favorite song.

“I love you. You love me. We are a happy family. With a great big hug and a kiss kiss. [sic] Won’t you say you love me too?” Ava singed while she was looking to her mother’s eyes.

“My heart will forever be broken, it will never be the same, but I promised her that I would live for her. Hug your kiddos a little harder today, even when they drive you insane,” Jimenez had stated.
