HE HAD A DATE WITH HIS CRUSH, BUT BLOCKED HER AFTER THEIR DATE, AND ONLY PAID FOR HIS BILL

A 28-year-old Redditor had shared his story on Reddit’s r/AITA subreddit. He explained that during the COVID pandemic, he had used dating apps to find a woman for himself, but most of them lasted for two or three weeks. With one of his dates, the OP had took the things for the third date.
But things went wrong, and he blocked her right after their night out. When OP shared the story with his roommate, she stated that he made a wrong move, even she stated that OP’s date had some mean behaviors’ towards others.
OP explained that after few weeks of talking, they went to drink coffee together, as their first date. He shared that everything went smooth, and they got along pretty well. After a successful first date, they immediately arranged a second date, and they got few drinks that time.
As it went smooth too, they agreed of third date. They went to an ordinary restaurant. OP was waiting for his date to arrive, as he was not aware of what was going to happen.
OP had found a table on the outside, and started to wait for his date. When she arrived, she explained that she forget her wallet at home, and asked that if he could pay for the dinner. OP accepted as it was an ordinary restaurant.
The first thing that started his thinking to leave her was her mean behaviors’ towards the waitress. She said to their waitress that she was slow, and she was making them wait for long minutes.
Then, she wanted a beverage. After the waitress brought it, the woman stated that it was not what she ordered. OP tasted the drink, and he thought that it was okay, and it was what she wanted. Then his date sent it back, and got a new one.
Woman explained that she is starving, so she wanted an appetizer. As OP accepted, because he liked appetizers, the woman had ordered the most expensive thing on the menu. As they were half way there on the plate, she decided that it was not good, and asked for something else. At that point, OP explained that he had to do something about the date, because things were not going as he pleased.
He said to his date that he will be going to the bathroom, and he went to find the waitress. Then OP shared, “[I] explained that this girl sucked, and I was leaving but wanted to pay my half of the bill. I also told her that if she told my date that she has no idea where I went, that I would give her an extra $20 in addition to the tip.”
Then, twenty minutes later her date felt his absence, and started to text him that where he was. After she understand what happened, she asked that how could she pay for the night, as she forget to bring her wallet.
After OP arrived at home, he blocked the woman, and asked that if he was wrong in his doings. As his roommate stated that he was wrong, as he should talk with her before that, he asked to Redditors.
