FIRST LOVE OF KATE MIDDLETON, WILLEM MARX
As Kate Middleton and her husband, Prince William, are going strong and great in their marriage, they were romantically involved with other people before they started their relationship.
As Kate moved to Scotland, in order to study at the Unisersity of St. Andrews, she was with Harry Blakelock, before her move. As it is reported, Blakelock was, “the one who got away.”
It is reported that Blakelock had “broke her heart.” In their trip to Florence in 2001, Kate was hung up on Blakelock. A source stated, “When Kate arrived in Florence, she was really hung up about Harry,”
“She spoke about him all the time and he seemed to have messed her around quite a bit. He seemed to have blown hot and cold with her when they were at school, and she was always talking about how she could get him back. He was also in Florence at the same time but from what I can remember, nothing happened.”
As they had parted their ways, it is stated that Blakelock had married with one of Kate’s close friends, and he is a partner at Lockton companies.
Kate was dating with Rupert Finch, in 2001. Victoria Arbiter decribed Finch as, “by all accounts was a nice man.”
Arbiter continued, “Prince William, he kind of expressed a bit of interest, but I think Kate was still playing hard to get. She wasn’t terribly sure if she was interested,”
As Kate and Finch was in good terms after their separation, Finch was invited to their wedding in 2011. And two years later, Kate and William had attended Finch’s wedding, with Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs.
But Finch was not the only ex, who were invited to the Kate’s wedding. She also invited her first love, Willem Marx.
Before her time in St Andrews, Kate was dating with her first love, Willem Marx, during her time in Marlborough College in 2000. As she was in good terms with Marx too, she had invited him to her wedding in 2011.
“While Prince William’s first university girlfriend, Carly Massy-Birch, is still waiting for her invitation to his royal wedding, Kate Middleton’s former beau, Willem Marx, has had more success,” was reportedin The Telegraph, a month before the royal wedding.
“Mandrake [Telegraph insider] hears that Marx is the only male chum from Kate’s school days to have been invited to the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.”
“Who told you that I had been invited?” asked Marx, as he was not interested with the wedding, he continued as saying, “false assertion.”
A friend of Kate had stated, “Willem means a lot to Kate,”
After Marx graduated from Oxford University, he started his career in the TV channel, CNBC.
He is married to Johanna Botta. They are based in London, and Marx is working as a reported for CNBC. He is working on geopolitical news in Europe.
He can speak French, Spanish, and Italian.
In one of her Instagram post, Johanna stated, “Being freelance means always being ready to work and drop plans in a moment’s notice, not ideal I know!”
“But I get to spend so much time with my son, it makes it all worth it. I’m lucky to be in the position to make that choice.”
“Day: childcare. Night: Shoot show. Everything in between: fight with Husband, resent him and then thank him for helping me shoot at night,”
From the start of the last year, Johanna only shared her son’s pictures on her social media. The last post she shared a picture with her husband was captioned as, “Sorry no refunds! Happy 8th wedding anniversary to us,”
As Marx and Middleton didn’t worked out, Prince William and Princess Kate worked beautifully. At their engagement video, Prince William stated, “She’s got a really naughty sense of humour, which really helps me because I’ve got a really dirty sense of humour so it was good fun, we had a really good laugh, and then things happened,”
For the proposal, Middleton stated, “It was very romantic. There’s a true romantic in there.”
“I went I was keeping hold of it because I knew this thing, if it disappeared, I would be in a lot of trouble, and because I’d planned it, it went fine.” Prince Willia said.
“You hear a lot of horror stories about proposing and things going horribly wrong. It went really, really well, and I was really pleased she said yes,”
“It’s my mother’s engagement ring so I thought it was quite nice because obviously she’s not going to be around to share any of the fun and excitement of it all – this was my way of keeping her close to it all.”
