FATHER PUNISHED HIS DAUGHTER WITH NOT SENDING HER TO HOMECOMING, SENIOR PROM, AND DELETE HER SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS, WHEN HE LEARNED THAT SHE WAS A BULLY
A father had shared a story related to his daughter on Reddit’s r/AITA subreddit. He explained that he learned that his daughter was a bully in her school, so he punished her as he made her miss her one of a lifetime events, and delete all her social media accounts.
The OP was called from the school of his daughter, as they wanted to talk with him. Then at the school, the father learned that his daughter, Sam, was a member of a bullying group at her school. She had bullied a student over their race. The OP was shocked, as he stated that with his wife, they tried their best to raise their children with good values.
At first he thought to take all his daughter’s electronics, but he believed that this wouldn’t be enough. Then he stated to his daughter, Sam, that she is not going to her homecoming, or the senior prom. Then he continued that the car her parents were going to buy for her 18th birthday is gone too.
And finally, the OP, father, stated that she will no longer have a social media account, as he deleted all of her accounts.
As Sam begged her father for to be able to attend to her homecoming and senior prom, since they are once in a lifetime events, her father said no. The OP explained, “I told her that she shouldn’t have been a racist bully.”
As the OP’s parents stated that he went too far with the punishments, he stated that being a racist bully deserves much more punishment, and he still didn’t forgive his daughter for her terrible crime.
The Redditors had praised the honorable action of the father, as they stated that she needs to learn to face the consequences of her actions, and being a racist bully is incredibly fault.
