34-year-old famous actress Dakota Johnson had appeared in more than 30 movies. She gained the most fame through the movies, “Fifty Shades of Grey,” “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed.”
Her relationship with Chris Martin had received so much attention from the public, after the rumors of their engagement, where Johnson was spotted with a huge emerald ring on her finger.
The pictures were surfaced in 2020, where the ring was looking like a engagement ring. When she was seen wearing the ring again in 2021, the rumors started again.

In 2023, jewelry designer Jessica McCormack had shared a photograph of Johnson wearing the same ring. The designer captioned the picture as, “fav colour after diamonds 💚 #mondaymuse.”

In 2024, a source stated that the couple’s romance started six years ago, and that they are inseparable, had another step in their relationship where they only kept it as a secret with their close family and circle.
“The couple got engaged a while ago and have kept the news private. But now they are being open about it with their circles. They have been besotted with each other from day one so taking this next step was inevitable.” The source said.
Dakota is from a family of entertaintment industry. Her father is Don Johnson, the actor who appeared in more than 100 credits screen.
Her mother is famous actress and producer Melanie Griffith, who had appeared in more than 80 projects.
As her parents got separated and had other children with other people, Dakota is the only child of the former couple. “I grew up in a family that was so big, and I just believe in the saying ‘Blood is thicker than water.'” Dakota said.
“I have four brothers and two sisters, and my two sisters are not blood-related to each other, but they are sisters and they call each other sisters and they are always together. And my two older brothers are not blood-related to each other. And they are brothers.”

When Dakota talked about watching Chris Martin on stage, the actress said, “I don’t know. I love watching him. I could watch him every day. […] I’m watching my most favorite being do his most favorite thing.”
Chris has two childrne from his former partner, Gwyneth Paltrow. As Dakota and Gwyneth Paltrow has a good relationship, back in 2018 they spent some time together.
They celebrated the Thanksgiving together, where Gwyneth’s husband, also attended to the celebration.
“We’re actually very good friends.” Gwyneth said about Dakota. “We’re actually very good friends.”
“I love her. I can see how it would seem weird because it’s sort of unconventional. But I think, in this case, just having passed through it iteratively, I just adore her.”
In 2023, a fan asked for a picture from Gwyneth where she was with Dakota, and the actress had shared the picture online for her fan’s favor.
When Dakota was asked about her stepchildren, Apple and Moses Martin, she said, “I love those kids like my life depends on it. With all my heart.”
