WOMAN DECIDED TO TEACH A LESSON TO HER FIANCE, WHO EXPECTED EXPENSIVE GIFTS FROM HER SINCE SHE WAS EARNING MORE THAN HER
Margot was together with her fiance Aaron for two years, and despite the ups and downs, along with monetary issues after Aaron lost his job, they kept things stable.
Margot was working in a stable job where she had a great income, and with her income she was able to hold the weight of their relationship’s monetary side. But Aaron wasn’t as lucky as Margot, as he was almost failed in his career, where he was making very little when it was compared to Margot’s income.
But Margot was in love with Aaron, and paying for most of the things was not something she was feeling uneasy with. But when Aaron wanted fancy things for himself due to that income gap, things started to go south.
As Aaron was always liked expensive luxury items, and designer clothes, he would want expensive gifts from Margot for the special days and holidays. Margot was happy to make her fiance happy with gifts too, but they also needed to be careful with their expenses.
For her father’s birthday, Margot took Aaron to the mall, and Aaron saw a $350 watch while they were at the mall. “Can you get it for me?” he asked.
“Babe, I’m here for my dad’s gift. I don’t have that kind of cash on me right now.” Margot said.
Then Aaron throw a tantrum. “How can you love your dad more than me? Why can’t you spend on me like you do on him?”
Margot was shocked. She tried to calm Aaron down and asked him to talk about it later, but Aaron wasn’t stopping. He was stating that Margot was putting her family before their relationship.
As Aaron started to make a scene, and tried to manipulate Margot, she couldn’t believe him. She left him at the mall and went outside alone.
After what happened, Margot had thought about their relationship, and how terrible Aaron acted at the mall, and it was clear for Margot that he was manipulating her before too.
It was not about the watch. Aaron was making Margot buy himself expensive things which he couldn’t afford, and was manipulating her to do it. When she realized that, she understand that she couldn’t be with a man like aaron.
