BOYFRIEND LEFT GIRLFRIEND AT THE RESTAURANT, AND LEFT WITHOUT PAYING THE BILL FOR THEIR 3RD ANNIVERSARY
A woman shared her story on Reddit’s r/TrueOffMyChest subreddit. She explained that with her boyfriend, they went to a fancy restaurant for their 3rd anniversary, and he left without paying the bill, and left his girlfriend at the restaurant, so she kicked him out, and he slept on the street for a day.
OP stated that she is together with her boyfriend for three years, and as she stated, she was the “wallet” of the relationship. Then she continued with saying that her parents were wealthier than the single mother of her boyfriend.
OP said she had bouth three cars to her boyfriend, and paid for every vacation they had, as she explained, “provide for myself and him.”
At the same time, her boyfriend showed no interest to work, as his last job was two and a half years ago. Then OP confronted him with that issue, and he explained that he got a job, and forget to tell her about it. OP said, “He later apologized, and said that he actually got a side job. And just forgot to tell me, that he wants to treat me to a nice dinner date as a thank you for being the most amazing girlfriend and in celebration of our 3 year anniversary that was coming up.”
Then they decided on a fancy restaurant, to celebrate their third anniversary, and celebrate her boyfriend’s new job. As they were having great time, the time to pay came. The boyfriend stated he forget his wallet at the car, and he will go and get it, then come back. He never came. OP waited for an hour for her boyfriend, then paid the bill, and went back to her home with an uber.
OP explained that it was not the first time, and, “Later that night I called my boyfriend and he said he was sorry and that something “came up” and he just left. This wasn’t the first time he’s done this, so I told him that I feel like I was being used and that it was over. I threw all his things out of my apartment and refused to let him come back in that night.”
