Iconic actor, Henry Wrinkler, had met with his wife, Stacey, in a clothing store, that was a client of a firm that Stacey was working for. As he was looking for something, he needed help, and asked Stacey for help.
“She was wearing purple parachute pants, and she had red hair, and without her even saying a word, I thought, ‘Woah, beautiful woman standing in front of me’. I came back to the store the next week, and she was there. And within 10 minutes, I learned how strong she is.” Wrinkler had said about the first time they met.
When he came back to the store for his coat, on the next week, he had struggled with Stacey, as he tried to get a date from her, and in the end, he was successful.
As they decided to marry, weeks before their marriage, Stacey had moved in with him, as she took her 4-year-old son with her.
As they were married, Wrinkled’s career had rised and he gained fame too, and with the fame, came other women around Wrinkler. As she had stated, she learnt to deal with the attention Wrinkler was getting.
”People would rush up to Henry and literally walk over my feet. One time I said, ‘You’ve just completely ruined my stockings.’ And this woman said, ‘But I love Fonzie!’” she had stated.
Their daughter, Zoey was born in 1980, and their son Max was born in 1983.
Max, like his father, had entered the same industry, and had appeared on “New Girl”, and “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.”
As it was 90s, they had struggled with life, as Stacey was diagnosed with a breast cancer. She had acted quickly, and started her treatment, and the cancer gone. And in 2007, it came back, which she had received double mastectomy, and got rid of the cancer again.
As his wife had struggled with cancer, he became a name for 13th annual “In The Pink of Health” Luncheon, as he was a guest speaker in the event.
He was already a supportive man, as he had appeared in an All-Star Basketball Game for American Cancer Society in 1976.
While he was on the James Corden show, he was surprised with a picture from their wedding, as he had praised how his wife was looking on that day.
About their long marriage, Stacey had stated, ”It does take work. There are glitches in the road, and you get a little off kilter, but if you have the ability and the stick-to-itiveness based on love, then your friendship and your relationship only gets better,”
They are loving grandparents now, as Wrinkler had stated, “my wife and I babysat our four-year-old grandson, who is allowed to watch one show before he goes to bed. He has Happy Days on his DVR. He turned to me, he said, ‘That’s you. Your hair was different. You were skinnier then’”
