ANDRE BRAUGHER PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 61
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star, 61-year-old Andre Braugher passed away, as he left his family and fans grieving.
On his great career, Braugher received eleven Emmy nominations, and received an Emmy in 1998, with his role of Detective Frank Pemberton, and in 2006, for the “Thief.”
He was lastly cherished our screens with Captain Holt of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”
After his passing was announced, many people from the industry paid tribute to Braugher. His co-star from Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Terry Crews released a statement from his social media account.
Crews stated, “Can’t believe you’re gone so soon. I’m honored to have known you, laughed with you, worked with you and shared 8 glorious years watching your irreplaceable talent. This hurts. You left us too soon. You taught me so much. I will be forever grateful for the experience of knowing you. Thank you for your wisdom, your advice, your kindness and your friendship. Deepest condolences to your wife and family in this difficult time. You showed me what a life well lived looks like. Rest In Peace, Andre. I love you, man.”
As he was a great person in his career, he was the same great man in his family life too. For his wife, Ami Brabson, Braugher said, “She knows me like the back of her hand, and I’m grateful for that.”
As he was working in the movie sets, he was constantly flying back to his family, to spend time with his wife, Ami, and his children, John Wesley, Michael, and Isaiah.
