AFTER WHAT HER MOTHER-IN-LAW SAID TO HER CHILDREN, WOMAN CUT HER TIES WITH MOTHER-IN-LAW
Jenna was lying in her bed, after the car accident she got involved. Her husband, James, rushed to her side after he was called about Jenna’s hospitalization. He left their 11 and 6-year-old daughters to his mother.
On the next morning, James arrived at the hospital with their daughters, to take Jenna back home. Suddenly, her youngest daughter rushed towards Jenna as, “I don’t want you to die!”
“I’m not dying, and I was very lucky,” Jenna tried to calm her down, and then her daughter said, “But Granny said she hoped you would die so that she could live with us and dad.”
Jenna was shocked. “Granny did mention that she preferred if dad wasn’t with you so she could have the three of us all to herself,” her oldest daughter added.
After that, James confronted with his mother. “So you’re saying your granddaughters are liars and fabricated this story just to cause trouble after almost losing their mother,” he said.
The mother-in-law stated that it was a slip of the tongue, but the damage was done. Jenna explained that she was hurt deeply, and that she doesn’t want any contact with his mother to James.
After James’ father passed away, Jenna let her daughters to spend time with their grandmother. As the grandmother learned that, she rushed towards their house and started to cry and plead in their house.
She explained that it was a mistake which she is regretting. Then revealed that she wanted James and her granddaughters for herself, as she had a miscarriage years ago, and lost her only daughter before James was born.
“Why have you never mentioned this before?” James asked. As Jenna went out to let them talk, she couldn’t found anyone when she returned, and called her husband.
“I’m driving my mother back home in her car and will return in a taxi,” James said. “I can’t talk right now,” he added, and Jenna heard his mother saying in the background as, “Please forgive me, Jim, I made a big mistake… please don’t turn on me and shut me out you’re all I’ve got left.”
Few hours later, James returned, and he explained that his mother lied about his “late sister,” to gain their love back.
“I guess this means ‘no contact’ from us and the children going forward?” Jenna asked to her husband. “Yes, I don’t want anything to do with that woman,” he said.
