AFTER HIS MOTHER HAD REVEALED THAT THERE WILL BE A VEGAN BIRTHDAY CAKE IN HER SON’S BIRTHDAY PARTY, NONE OF THE BOY’S SCHOOL FRIENDS SHOW UP

Malachi, had a Pokemon themed birthday party, as his mom had made a vegan cake in it. But with that attempt, Malachi’s school friends never showed up in his birthday party.

Mother, Ms. Craine had said, “I’ve been told every day after school about kids making rude remarks about him being vegan.”
“But it was only a week ago he told me that everyone said they weren’t coming to his party if he has a vegan cake. They want him to have “animals” in it or they won’t come.”
It was last year that Craine had turned into the vegan diet completely, but she had no intention to made her children follow her, as her sons did, which aged four and two.
“He is really passionate about being vegan.” she added.

“He absolutely loves his animals. When I explained that chicken is what’s in nuggets and cow in burgers he was instantly thrown off and never wanted to touch any animal product again.”
The sad mother had stated that her son was excited about having a Pokemon themed birthday party, to have fun with his friends.
“I think he was excited to tell his friends he’s having a chocolate vegan cake and they ran him down about it and said they won’t come,” she added.
“They want him to have “cow” in his cake or they aren’t coming, that’s how they worded it.”
She had thought that it would be no problem to have a vegan cake, but as they had received their RSVP’s, she had realized that her son was going to have a lonely birthday party.
“We have not had one reply about his birthday invites or any friends coming” she said.
After that, she had asked her friends from a vegan Facebook group to bring their kids to their vegan birthday party.
“It’s coming up next weekend and we have about 12 kids coming” she said.
“It will be nice for him to make some kind friends with similar interests.”
“He’s always keen to make friends, he’s a little social butterfly so he’s super excited about his birthday.”
“He’s also absolutely obsessed with Pokémon, I even bought him a Pikachu costume to wear.”
