AFTER GRANDFATHER LEARNED THAT HIS GRANDSON IS NAMED AFTER HIM, HE COULD NOT HOLD HIS TEARS BACK
As Mike Sheff had met with his grandson, his daughter had prepared a surprise for the 63-year-old grandfather. As Mike went to see his daughter, Jessi Way, in, Henrico Doctors Women’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, he was surprised with tears.
With his wife, 63-year-old Julie, the grandparents had no idea that the name of their grandson was, Michael Sheff Wa.
The grandparents had arrived few days later, after their daughter gave birth to their grandson. Their daughter didn’t talked about the name she chose for her son, and waited until they arrive.
The incident happened in 2019, and Jess wanted to remember the emotional moments, as she shared the clip on TikTok. The video was watched more than 10 million, and thousands of people commented that they got emotinal with the grandfather’s reaction.
Jess stated that she is happy with the reaction of her father, as it is proving that she chose the right name to give her son.

In another occasion, 65-year-old Larry Kayler Myers, went to see his great-grandson, which his granddaughter, Samantha gave birth to.
As Myers went to see his granddaughter in a Tulsa hospital, he saw on the birth certificate that his name was given to his great-grandson, Lincoln Kayler Williams.
As his granddaughter and her husband, Samantha and Thomas had surprised their grandfather, the great-grandfather couldn’t held his tears back.
