ADAM JOHNSON, HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE NOTTINGHAM PANTHERS, LOST HIS LIFE ON HIS GAME
On the 29th of October, Adam Johnson from the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey club, sadly lost his life while playing ice hockey.
The Nottingham Panthers had announced his passing from their social media account.
“The Nottingham Panthers are truly devastated to announce that Adam Johnson has tragically passed away following a freak accident at the game in Sheffield last night,” they had stated from their Twitter account.

Late sportsman, was wearing number 47 on his club, and he was described as a great ice hockey player and a great teammate, who is a great humanbeing.
After his passing, the English Ice Hockey Association also released a statement about the passing of Adam, and stated their condolences to his family and fans.
As it is stated, Adam had a fatal neck injury while he was playing in Sheffield. His throat was cut when he had collided with an opponent as they were playing. He stand up and tried to make his way to the bench. Everyone in the ice rink had rushed towards him to help. CPR performed on adam and he was rushed to the Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital, sadly where he had passed away.
His aunt, Kari Johnson had saw what happened to his nephew, as she was watching the game from TB with the father of Adam. She had stated, “We saw it happen. It was horrific. […] And, at one point, they had lost him in the ambulance, and they brought him back.”
His aunt had added that Adam had lost tremendous amount of blood, and the thing she and Adam’s family suffered is traumatic.
Adam’s girlfriend had shared his picture from her Instagram account, and stated, “My sweet, sweet angel. I’ll miss you forever and love you always.”
South Yorkshire Police had stated that the investigation of the 29-year-old hockey players death is ongoing now, and they will release their reports soon.
