A WOMAN TOLD HER HUSBAND WHAT SHE WANTS FOR HER OWN BIRTHDAY, BUT THE ACTION OF HER HUSBAND MADE HER MAD
A woman had stated her story on Reddit, and asked for advices about the issue where her husband didn’t get her what she wanted for her own birthday, and with his gift, she went mad.
She had stated that she needs to spent some alone time since she was dealing with their two children, as she shared, “Told my(26f) husband(35m) for the past 2 weeks I wanted alone time. Came home from pharmacy and groceries with my four year old and our 10 month old and he’s baking a cake and putting it in the fridge. He goes: “it’ll probably be the worst cake you ever ate but pretty.” So I said “you know what is like instead of a cake? Some alone time from the kids.” Anyways he proceeded to ignore the girls and I for the next 4 hours while I made dinner and got them ready for bed—he was decorating the cake and running to the store 20 minutes away for more frosting. “
She then continued that her husband still ignored her and kept dealing with the cake he was making for her. “By 10pm he was done and excited and I told him I was angry because instead of time away from the kids I basically did all of dinner/baths/bed BY MYSELF again so he could bake a pretty cake I didn’t want or ask for. He had sent our parents pictures of it and I told him he was setting me up to look like the A and he told me I’m ungrateful and he did nothing wrong.”
Then she had added some more information, as, that her husband had bought her a new car, but the problem had continued, as she shared, “further context he bought a new car last week and said since he spent so much on it he was gonna ask if I would like the present he was getting me before dropping a bunch more money… a $500 kayak. I snapped and said when am I going to use a kayak I can’t even go to the grocery store alone?? So he obviously agreed not to get the kayak. Somehow the cake was a better idea than just babysitting the kids for a few hours when I’m not working idk.”
She asked for advice from other Redditors, and here are the advices;
